I highly recommend any of these surge devices that Best Buy sells. I have a couple similar models made by Insignia and they work great too so you can have your phone charging but still have use of the outlets!
I do prefer the Monster power supplies as they do have higher amperage so they charge my devices faster. They also have better safety ratings as far as fire prevention and actual surge protection. They also have a screw in the middle to anchor it to the outlet on your wall so it doesn't fall out or get pulled out so your devices stay protected.
