With a Target Clean option, this Whirlpool WDF760SADW built-in dishwasher helps eliminate the need for soaking and scrubbing by effectively scouring off baked-on foods from your dishes. The 1-hour wash cycle lets you do a load in half the time.
The silverware clip broke when trying to put the silverware basket in another location of the dw. Because our silverware must be larger than many other reviewers it doesn't work as well for us as our other Maytag did (that one lasted a year before the electronics went out) The clip for the silverware is a tight fit that I would assume is to allow it to be placed in another position and stay. Unfortunately it was so tight I couldn't work it and it broke. We tend to place small items in the silverware basket and couldn't get our hands in to get it out, so opened the basket and the clip broke. If you use the dw for small items, this might be a problem. Other than that, the DW works well at cleaning. Not as well as our other dishwasher, but I wasn't willing to shell out the same dollars for the new dishwashers with the electronics that seem to have issues after a short period of time. Doesn't seem to matter the make. This one is not as quiet as our other one even though it is supposed to be. Not sure what the difference is there. We will probably add some more insulation to see if we can subdue some of the extra noise. I can fit a lot of dishes in the machine and lots of larger things. All come out clean using sensor wash. I like the top rack is easily adjustable up or down. Best Buy was great to work with. Matched a sale price from another store. We did purchase the extended warranty. With the expensive issues with electronics figured it would be inexpensive insurance. If the machine can make it past the one or two year mark, it will probably last.
