Steve Harvey is "on point", once again! Hysterically funny, and poignant in his observations of life. He never ceases to entertain you. This is a "must" purchase for his fans!
A family member played this album for me recently, & was shocked to learn it was "Wayne Brady's" newest offering? I knew Wayne could sing, but I was amazed so many great cuts were on one album! Heard the first single "Ordinary" on the radio, but didn't realize it was him at the time. Purchased this album, & it's been in regular rotation play on my CD player ever since. Best cover of "Sam Cooke's" song I've ever heard, & I'm a "Die-hard" Sam fan from way back. It may have been "a long time coming" Wayne, but it was worth the wait. A fantastic sounding "R & B" album! But sadly I think it has been under promoted.
What's great about it: Every song, originals & covers.
"Angie" has been at this for a while, & she just gets even better with each new offering. Love her voice, & style. And the other featured artists only add to an already great product! Angie is a "funky R & B Diva" to be reckoned with. Too bad she doesn't get all the credit & accolades she deserves, but Angie fans will not be disappointed with this purchase.
What's great about it: Her innovative style, & lyrics.
I've always loved "R & B" style music, & "Raphael" when he was with "Tony, Toni, Tone", & "Lucy Pearl" as well. His style & voice always stood out as being unique. And all of his Bands, & music have been exceptional, tight, & always a little "funky". This album "takes me back" to a familiar time & sound, but with a new style twist Loved this album, from beginning to end!
What's great about it: The "Old School" sound , but with a "new" twist.
