Keep the cap of your Apple Pencil safe with this Insignia cap keeper. It secures the cap so that you don't lose it when you're charging your Apple Pencil using the Lightning port. When you're done, this Insignia cap keeper lets you simply put the cap back onto your Apple Pencil.
I bought this item online earlier this year, so I've had several months experience with it. It does exactly what I wanted it to do: keep the cap safe. The cap and the cover can easily flip off the pen, but only when you are fiddling with the top of pencil in the way you would with a wood pencil eraser or a pen cap. But if you don't fiddle, no problem. It has held up very well and there does not seem to be any wear or tear on the connecting piece between the cap cover and the part that encircles the pencil. I was really happy to find that this piece of equipment existed and will not go without it for even a minute.
It gets a four because the soft material feels a little slick and the piece that fits around the pencil isn't really tight and slides up and down the pencil body when handling the pencil near the top end. Not a deal breaker, but a little annoying.
