Freezer problems

Bought my new refrig on 9/17/15. About 2 weeks after working fine, came down in the morning and found my frozen water bottles thawing out including about 7-8 frozen dinners. Called Whirlpool, suggested I raise the temperature higher from the recommended setting. It worked for again about 2 weeks. Yesterday morning, came down, same thing again, unfrozen bottles of water and 9 frozen dinners thawing out. Called Whirlpool again, this time told to turn off circuit breaker, wait 1-2 minutes and turn back on again. This was on 10/15/15; told service tech will come on 10/26/15. This morning freezer is freezing again. Whirlpool - what's going on?????
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As of 10/20 - freezer is working fine. I cancelled the service tech for 10/26. We will see what happens. Therefore, I'm raising my star value to 4.

Update on refrigerator
October 24, 2015
Today, 10/24/15 - came down this morning and refrigerator was not coming on - frozen food and bottles starting to thaw out (about half-way). Unplugged and plugged back in - motor came back on. Called Whirlpool for service - due date 9/2/15. Should not have cancelled previous appointment. Star value back to a one (1).

November 2, 2015
Service tech showed up today 11/2/15. Was told this model was having problems with defrost timer staying on too long - will replace time 11/10/15. Will see what happens!
What's up Whirlpool? Why send out frigs with this problem - why not fix before people buy????

Freezer problems

April 4, 2016 - update on freezer. To restate - 1. bought on Sept 17, 2015. Two weeks after purchase freezer unthawed - told to set on higher settings - worked for about 2 weeks. 2. Same problem - called - told to turn circuit breaker off and on to reset the frig. Two weeks later same problem - tech came on and replaced defrost timer - told by technician these frigs were coming with defective ones. 3. March 26th same problem AGAIN. Tech came out today - now they are replacing the compressor and evaporator. Wouldn't it have been more economical to replace frig with different model?????? And on top of all this Whirlpool refuses to reimburse for the lost food I had to throw out the four (4) times this same problem has happened. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
