When Luna the baby tiger cub escapes her enclosure from Joe Camp's (Christopher Judge) animal sanctuary she crawls into Billy's (Will Spencer) backpack. Finding her on the car ride home he knows he has to hide the cub from his parents and get her back ASAP. The problem is he doesn't know how. To make things worse he's being teased by the neighborhood "cool" kids and has a crush on his classmate Doreen (Merit Leighton) who is part of that clique. He enlists the help of his best friend Koby (Zachary Friedman) and they come up with a plan that doesn't really work out the way it should. Coupled with trying to keep their secret from Billy's parents, played hysterically clueless by Greg Grunberg and Darlene Vogel, they get themselves in all sorts of predicaments! Billy, Koby, and Doreen feel like a modern take on Alfalfa, Spanky, and Darla from the lil Rascals. Not as many kids as in the My Gang series but just as much fun. The best part is all the action centers around an impossibly cute baby tiger. Good fun for children and adults alike.
