This case is ok if you only use your ipad in portrait mode (like an e-reader), but if you plan on using it as a stand I would suggest getting the full case instead.
My iPad would frequently fall off the case when being used as a stand. The magnet that attaches to the tablet is located on the bottom and since the tablet leans back, any slight downward force would cause it to fall off. If this would be a problem for you then I would not get this case!
