Might be worth it after a year of firmware updates

I would be much less disappointed with Ring Pro if I had been provided it at no cost as a beta tester. It isn't ready for mass release, and I strongly recommend against buying it, except for the most extreme early adopters. Motion sensing is mostly a failure. A sunrise or crawling bug will set it off. The app doesn't allow you to control the sensitivity, so I get dozens of alerts about motion when the lawn mowing crew is in the yard. I have to manually disable motion alerts and then remember to turn them back on. Motion sensing at night doesn't work, even when you stand just inches away from the doorbell. There are so many other annoyances and aggravations. I'm hopeful the company will issue a recall so I can get my money back.
