The remaster of this classic hardcore album sounds nothing short of phenomenal. In addition, the packaging is superb, and an unbelievable value at under $20. A must have!
A fun score to the Halloween classic with great cover art from Francisco Francavilla. The only issue is that this pressing seems to have a bit of surface noise, though the orange variant (this) is better than any of the other variants that were released through Waxwork.
Another solid album, front to back, from the collective of musicians known as Norma Jean. The album sounds so much better on vinyl than on CD - much denser and more layered!
Low Teens as an album is superb, hence the 5 star rating. However, the U.S. pressing of the record was messed up with a couple of tracks missing from the end of Side A. Replacements are being pressed, but if you get a defective copy you have to submit through ETID's website in order to get a replacement.
In their last album to be released prior to disbanding, DEP hits a grandslam with a record full of everything you've come to love about them. From the opening ripper, limerent death, to the haunting closer, the titular Dissociation, this album has something that will please all DEP fans. One of the best albums of 2016.
This is an excellent follow up to the surprise hit, The Conjuring. The story is well written and creates one of the most frightening premises of any movie released in 2016. The Nun is sure to give you nightmares.
These newly re-performed/re-imagined tracks act as a greatest hits of some of Goblin's most classic songs from a litany of Italian horror flicks. Great for the casual fan as well as the diehard.
This is a reissue of the amazing 3rd album by Ghost, Meliora, that also includes the new Popestar EP on a second record. They didn't change up the artwork on the front, but have listed the Popestar tracks on the back of the jacket. The EP is in an additional sleeve inside of the Meliora jacket.
This EP has one original song, Square Hammer, that is one of the catchiest songs the band has written to date. The rest of the EP is compiled of covers that are a different pace than fans may be used to, but sure enough become as enjoyable as anything else in the band's catalog after a few listens, despite being a little off from what may have been expected.
Scream Factory has done a superb job with what I find the be the definitive release of John Carpenter's The Thing on blu-ray. The transfer looks amazing and the set is overflowing with bonus features, many of which are newly commissioned for this release. A must have for fans of this sci-fi horror classic.
