Worst purchase ever!

Bought this oven from Best Buy exactly 18 months ago. Just paid my last payment to them in June. Used the self cleaning feature for the first time ever last week. The oven shut down about 1 hour into the cycle. Could not open the door and the panel went black. Had the local repair company out and they said it will cost $700 to fix. I only paid $1100.00 for it 18 months ago. I was never really happy with the oven/stovetop from the beginning. The oven temperature was inconsistant when baking cookies and could not hear the timer alarm. Also could not get the stovetop cleaned after the first couple of months. I had a Kenmore Kitchenaid for over 13 years and the stovetop looked as good the day I replaced it as when I bought it. I bought this range because of the great reviews it received and I loved that it looked like a high end range, but it does not last like a high end range. Will never buy a Samsung again! Beware!!!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
