Nice laptop, on par with my XPS 15 9560... biggest annoyance is Apple's inability to put more RAM into the machine, they say it's because they don't want to drain the battery but there are plenty of Windows machines (my XPS) that can handle +GB of DDR4 just fine and still provide great battery life. In my opinion 16GB of DDR3 and not being able to upgrade when spending almost $3000.00 on a laptop is unacceptable, i'll deal with it for now as i only use this for some editing but that is very frustrating. It's a very clean, nice looking zippy machine that is for sure. It's supposed to be much brighter than my XPS 15 (300 nits) at 500+ nits but i don't see too much of a different. The build of the machine is rock solid and i actually like the 4 USB type C ports, not sure why so many people are throwing a fit about that as everything is moving in that direction. All in all this is a very nice laptop but i'd like to see the memory improved and the price dropped. I purchased the fully loaded version and after tax it's over $3000.00, add Applecare (3 years) and you're looking at closer to $3500.00. If you're an Apple person, then i would recommend, but if you're a PC guy i'd stick with my high end DELL XPS 15 9560. Also, forgot to mention the touchbar, touch ID, trackpad and keyboard. The touchbar has improved and is a useful tool if you ask me, the trackpad is massive, almost ridiculously big but i don't use it, i use an external mouse so i don't care either way. Touch ID has worked fine for when i need it (it doubles as the power button) and the keyboard, which many aren't too fond of, i happen to love, barely have to touch the keys and too me that feels really nice while typing.

I went into Best Buy planning on buying the lower model of this, the non HDR but still curved, when i saw this HDR version was only a couple hundred more i opted for it. The TV itself is very lightweight and gorgeous, pretty easy to set up soon as you hook it to your WIFI in your house. It has WIFI built in, BlueTooth built in and many other cool features.
This is probably just my lack of knowledge here but when i watch cable TV, just regular channels, FoxNews, CNN whatever its very pixleated and choppy looking, almost like the box cant support the TV, the box has a high resolution of up to 1080i so maybe that is the issue im not sure, its a new Samsung cable box though so ill have to call the cable company.
Now the apps section is great, there alot of them and very good content. One app has me puzzled though, the Amazon Video app. I have always used a Firestick and love Amazon and have tons of movies purchased. I purchased the Amazon Fire TV which touts the 4K movie feature. I have not set the Fire TV up yet because Amazon Video is on the TV built in and things look great. Is the TV able to display Amazon Video in 4K or do i need to hook the Fire TV up to get 4K videos? This would stink if i have to hook it up because then i have to switch around and essentially have two of the same things on my TV. So im not sure of that. I also bought the curved soundbar with the wireless subwoofer. It set up in a snap but when i turn the TV off with the remote, the soundbar shuts off fine, when i turn the TV on the soundbar does not come on unless i manually turn it on which is annoying. There is a Bluetooth ON feature which i have set to on and i have also programmed the TV remote to be the master remote which controls the soundbar but still, when i turn things off and on, the soundbar stays off. We have little children so the less small remote laying around the better. When watching movies from the built in apps like Google Play, Amazon, Hulu things look gorgeous. The TV picture is a bit bright and some things look overly exposed and washed out. Again im new at all of this and i have the TV set to DYNAMIC and ECO is set to off.
Anyways, for the price you cant go wrong, i would recommend this and hopefully i find the answers to my questions.

I have a Echo and a Google Home sitting side by side, mainly to test the new Google Home i just got. There are many questions i ask both and they both give good answers, strikingly similar, maybe Amazon is stepping its game up. They both have very good sound quality but i like the look of the Home better. If you haven't bought either i would probably go with the Home since Google is ever adapting, and it controls my Nest thermostat nicely :)

Nothing Special / Extremely Overpriced

I saw these headphones at BestBuy the other day and needed a nice bluetooth solution/headset. The premium look of the device and the high price tag attracted me, so i bought it. It's now two days later and i just returned it. First, the instructions are really bad, its a tiny book with a few tiny pages of basic info and that's it. Most of the functions i had to figure out on my own. I received calls and my callers kept saying they could hardly hear me, even when i was close to my phone in a very quiet room. Soon as i disconnected the headset people could hear me fine on my phone and speakerphone. I figured it may be a fluke, but EVERYONE i talked to over 2 days complained. I paired it with a S7 Edge and a iPhone 7 Plus, same results. It's not very comfortable either and the earbuds kept popping out, and i have normal ears and was using the right size earbuds (a few different sizes come with it). The sound was "ok", nothing special at all. The more and more i used this the more and more i said this is maybe worth $39.99 not $199.99. Regardless, i took it back and got something else. I would avoid this overpriced low quality product. Don't let the premium look fool you.

The camera does what its supposed to but when hooking to a PC it seems to lock up sometimes, this isn't just on one PC but many, and all can handle 4K video fine. This seems to be a issue with many people. Other than that it seems to be pretty good so far.

Have bought and returned probably 10 cams, BestBuy employees must hate me by now but i wont settle. After almost giving up on finding a portable cam that didnt weight 7+lbs and i personally could easy get around with i found this cam. I was a bit confused because there are a few versions, the 1, 2 and 3. The 1 was too old, the two is essentially the same as the 3 minus the 600 zoom (the 2 only has 200 which is plenty for me). The 2 also scored pretty high in a few other areas where the 3 didnt do so well. The video quality and picture quality are awesome. I do alot of VLOGGING so i wanting something that could record great and take great pics. I paired it up with Manfrotto mini tripod and a Rode shotgun mic and im in heaven!

I'm a novice and i bought this lens in addition to my standard lens that came on my a6000. I bought it for the zoom mainly since the stock lens doesn't offer much of a zoom. The lens is crafted beautifully and matches up perfect to my silver a6000. The picture i took looked pretty good and my only gripe was that it's somewhat big (for me) and i kept knocking it into things even when on my carry strap, this is my own fault of course but this lense makes the cam significantly larger for sure. I would recommend this ad a welcome addition to the a6000 camera.

Worst Remote We Have Ever Owned - AVOID

This remote resets itself all the time, loses commands and is just unreliable. We even went as far as sending it back to Logitech and they sent us a new one, still the same issues. I looked around the web at reviews and saw many others with the same problem. I have a Harmony 550 that is a great remote, i thought this would be a bit nicer but its a disaster. Complete Junk.

To small, hard to use, waste of money!

This mouse LOOKS great, that's about it though! I found it hard to grip and use. When trying to scroll you have to position your finger directly in the middle (there is no markers or guide) and hope you have it just right to scroll. I found myself wasting more time trying to place my finger in the right spot than i was getting my work done. There is a annoying rear / middle click on the mouse and i found myself clicking that often too. Even though you can disable the button its still annoying. Again, to look at its very nice but for functionality it's a major pain. I got another Logitech m187 which is even smaller but much easier to use and 1/3 the price.

How does this $129.00 Google Home compare with the Echo Dot for $49.99?
Echo dot's MIC is horrible, thats a deal breaker right there. I had a "dot" and returned it. The regular Echo is great, very similar to the Google Home.

How long does the battery last when you are just recording
When filming in 4K (which is what i do) it lasts about a hour to hour and a half maybe, not very long, i highly recommend the clip on battery back and some extra batteries!

Does a Samsung s6 work with a Microsoft surface 2 tablet?
I was told an iPhone won't work with my surface 2 tablet by Microsoft.
What do you mean "work with" ? Yes it will show up as a media device if you plug it into the USB port and also can be used as a hotspot for the Surface but not sure what else you would need it to do.
