Logitech Wireless Mouse Marathon M705 lets you power on... and on. It uses less power than comparable wireless mice from other companies, so you'll go up to three full years between battery changes.¹ And it uses a tiny wireless receiver that stays plugged in to your computer, so your mouse is ready to go-whenever, wherever, and for as long as it takes. Plus, hyper-fast scrolling means you'll fly through long documents to find what you need in a flash. Advanced Optical Tracking means you'll get smooth, responsive cursor control. And the sculpted, right-hand shape means you'll be as comfortable finishing up as you were getting started.

Almost Perfect

Purchased this mouse for my Macbook Pro to replace the horrible Magic Mouse. I mainly got this mouse for the long-lasting battery feature but was really pleased to see that it has so many other useful features for a Mac:
1. Brings back "right-click" (thank goodness)
2. Has a hidden thumb button that launches Mission Control
3. The scroll wheel can scroll left to right by pushing the wheel to either side
4. Control Center app allows you to configure almost every aspect of the mouse
With all those positives you might be wondering why only 4 stars. The answer is due to an "over-active" scroll wheel. The scroll wheel seems to be mounted on bearings which although super-smooth, makes the wheel extremely sensitive. If I barely nudge my desk the wheel moves causing the page to scroll down. You can lower the speed of the scrolling but that doesn't change how physically sensitive the wheel is to movement so every few minutes I experience some ghost-movement where the page scrolls in a way that I didn't intend it to.
Other than the scroll issue the mouse has so much more functionality than any Apple Mouse. Next time I get a mouse I will probably look for one that does not have the Hyper scroll wheel.

Solid Case
on October 3, 2014

Bought this case initially hating the clear design but it was the only decent case available for the 6+ at the time so I had no choice. After a while i got over the looks of the case and just started appreciating the solid fit and quality of it. The case does keep the slim feeling of the iPhone 6 while providing decent protection.
The only negatives I have is the high polish sheen of the case attracts tons of oil and smudges from your hands. I find myself constantly wiping it. Also, the case has great edge protection however it comes at the cost of adding considerable bulk to the phone. The case adds a few cm of length and height to the phone however It doesn't add any bulk to the width of the phone which remains slim. Last gripe I have is the speaker cut out actually covers one of speaker holes so it's not an exact fit. I don't think it really affects the performance too much but if youre picky it might annoy you.
All in all if you don't care about the look of your case too much and just want something that will protect well with minimal bulk then consider the naked tough. One other thing I just found out is this case also comes in a black/smoke version so if you have the space grey iPhone 6 like i do then I would go for that color. If you have the silver or champagne iPhone 6 then go for the clear.

Best Slim Keyboard for iPad Air
on February 22, 2014

Let's face it, you bought the iPad Air because you appreciate the svelte profile and the gorgeous display. Why then would you take 10 steps back and put anything on your iPad that would make it look like the one of those table tablets at Chili's? The hands-down best feature of the Logitech Ultrathin keyboard is the design. I really like that Logitech took its time to make the Ultrathin Keyboard look like an extension of the iPad Air itself. The size is almost exactly the same as the iPad Air so when you close the cover it has the feeling of an ultra portable netbook.
The other great feature of the cover style keyboard is that you can easily remove it when you want to use the iPad as it was intended, as a tablet. Other similar keyboard cases in the market are not as easy to detach from the iPad almost defeating the purpose of having a tablet. And lastly, the one thing that I truly enjoy about this keyboard is that it has had the unintended effect of actually making me want to use my iPad more than my MacBook Pro. The keyboard cover is so portable that I'm finding myself reaching more for my iPad to complete tasks that I used to use my laptop for.
The only negative that I see is the lack of auto connect for the keyboard which other similar keyboards have. Belkin makes a keyboard that turns on/off automatically however this keyboard requires the manual flip of a switch to turn on/off. A little archaic for something seemingly so modern. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this item.

Strong Chemical Smell, Poor Fit, Expensive
on January 26, 2014

I bought this case for my daughters new iPad mini because it was on sale ($25) and she happens to love Owls. I was hesitant about the case from the beginning because the front cover was warped on 4 of the 5 cases in stock; which is a sign of poor overall quality control and manufacturing. But nevertheless, the Owls already won my daughter over and it was on sale so we got the least warped one and hoped for the best.
As I took the case out of the package I caught a whiff of a very strong chemical smell. As I inspected the case I found that the inside of the front cover (the side that touches the screen of the iPad when closed) has a very strong chemical smell to it. My daughter saw me smell the case so she curiously did the same and her reaction was as if she just smelled vinegar straight out of the bottle. Strike 1 for that. But hoping that the smell would subside after a while we continued on.
Next I installed the iPad mini carefully into the case and was disappointed to find that the case was a poor fit. This made the case difficult to install overall and I even somewhat felt as though I could have cracked the screen due to the amount of pressure I had to put into it. Strike 2. Once installed however, if you can get past the awkward fit, the case does seem very tight and there wouldn't be any chance of it falling off.
Although we did get a decent price for the case I wouldn't recommend this simply because of the poor fit and the smell. Spend the extra $5 and get something better quality, such as the speck candy shell case. My sons iPad mini has had the Speck candy shell since the iPad mini was first released and it has protected his iPad from hundreds of drops. Too bad Speck's designers aren't fans of cartoon owls.

Best Bumper Out
on December 26, 2013

Like the previous reviewer I too feel as though this bumper is as good as the original Apple iPhone bumper if not better. What I really like about this bumper is that Zagg managed to design a very thin and nearly nonexistent means of protecting your phone while actually enhancing the look of the iPhone 5. I actually feel as though the bumper makes the 5S look even more modern and sleek, imagine that.
The price is a little steep for a bumper but well worth it. I have the 5S in space grey and the clear color is a perfect match.

Buyer Beware - Manufacturing Defects (real review)

I really wanted to love this device. There are so many things about this device that I was excited about. I have an iPhone 5, iPad retina, and Blackberry curve that I use daily for work and personal uses and I have yet to find one product that can charge all three without extra cables. The Mycharge Hub could have been the answer to my prayers. But alas, the saying "if it's too good to be true then it probably is" has never been so rung so true.
I purchased the Mycharge Hub from Best Buy and immediately out of the box began charging my iPhone 5. After 10 minutes the Mycharge stopped charging my iPhone. I checked the battery meter and it was solid green (71%-100%) so it should have continued charging. I plugged in my iPad to see if it was my phone that was the problem but the Mycharge would not charge my iPad either. I then plugged in my Blackberry via the integrated micro-USB and boom... the Blackberry started charging. The culprit then, was the integrated lightning cable which was defective.
I was able to exchange the myCharge at Best Buy without any problems however the replacement Mycharge ALSO had a defective lightning connector! The problem isn't just a small isolated issue, if you check the reviews on other major online retailers you will see other people have had the same issue as me. It's a shame that such a great concept would have such poor manufacturing issues right out of the box. My suggestion, stay away from this product until future improvements are made.

Wish There Were More Options Out There

I've owned almost every iteration of the Mophie iPhone line (Air, Juice Pak Plus, Helium, etc.) and they all are very poor quality and ridiculously expensive. The Mophie Helium is no different. My biggest complaint about the Mophie Helium is that it adds a lot of bulk with only average charging ability. I charged the Mophie up completely and let it recharge my dead iPhone 5 and it only charged it to 55% before dying out. The box says "up to 80% extra battery", I think they were referring to size and not power because I can't see that being possible even under the best conditions.
One other major gripe is the headphone jack situation. Due to the poor design of the Mophie you are required to use the included Mophie headphone jack extension in order to access the jack if you have a headphones with a wide plug (such as all Beats by Dre headphones). And lastly, the fit of the Helium is very much like their Mophie Air model in that it's luck of the draw whether you get one that fits your phone without any significant gaps or misaligned edges. Mine had gaps all over the corners and sides right out of the box. Why can InCase make a super snug fitting case for $29 and Mophie can't even make one fit decent for $80?
I'm returning mine tomorrow and hoping that another company comes out with one soon.

Update - 5/28/13

I went back to a different Best Buy to try and exchange the 3rd myCharge Hub 6000 unit and the 4th was defective. The Geek Squad employee was fascinated with the fact that all those units had issues so we pulled 2 MORE units from the shelf and ALL of them had defective lightning plugs. A manager then came over and tried charging her iPhone 5 just to make sure there wasnt something wrong with my phone and the myCharge failed to charge her phone as well. This isn't a small issue, entire batches of these units are defective and have been confirmed at 2 different locations.

Lithion battery

Once the lithion battery has 500 cycles usage what happens next. do you have to buy another battery or you have to buy a new morphie juice pack helium charging case.
You would have to buy a new Mophie, the battery is not meant to removable by consumers. Speaking as someone who has owner 3 or more Mophies in the past, I would not recommend this product at all. It will last you less than a year before it either breaks, falls apart, or the battery becomes useless.
