Unimpressed but may be fun with family

This game can be fun with kids and family, especially if you create a game around it. It's not bad with adults too if you use it in a drinking game. Definitely not a good purchase for people expecting they can play this with their partners. Not worth the price it's at, maybe $20 maximum.

I tried several cases and screen protectors and this is the best so far. It fits nice and snug, has some pockets for games and has a stand in the case which works nicely, the stand also protects the screen when the case is closed. Only problem is if you're worried about dropping the console on concrete then this may not be the best option since it's not a hard case.

Nothing wrong with the product but I think it's unnecessary. The Joy-con battery life is 20 hours. Even if you have one set from buying the console, you can simply put them back into the dock and charge. If you have two sets of joy-cons this accessory is absolutely unnecessary as one set can charge while the other is in the regular grip that came with the console. Unless you plan on constantly playing 4 player games on the go, you really only need two joy-con sets at home in any of the games available or upcoming, after that you can just buy a Pro Controller for a cheaper price and that holds a 40 hour battery charge and is far superior in comfort.

It's a great texture and feels nice wrapped around your Switch. Will protect your screen. Allowing it to stand is very nice. The only issue for me is if you play the Switch in your hands and not on the stand, the flap that covers it and is used as a stand just hangs down. I returned for this reason. Also, can't fit into dock with this on. If you fly on airplanes a lot or will be using this on a desk or something, then it's useful.

There are many moments where I laugh from a 'Wow that's crazy' discovery. I don't want to spoil anything. The combat is excellent, strategic, adaptive, and the AI is very smart. You will face defeat multiple times. Climb anything you see, including buildings, and you will likely find something worth it. Beautiful graphics even on my 4K 65", nothing to complain about. A great games for kids too as the game doesn't guide you and has so many details that allow one to use their imagination. A huge open-world filled with mystery, go explore it any way you like.

Advanced portable gaming tablet that you can play on your TV. It's like a huge upgrade to the Wii U. Very sleek, feels good in hands, amazing graphics for a portable albeit for the TV portion we haven't had developers utilize the docked setting to their utmost advantage yet. Immersion is never broken as you can play anywhere, this is perfect for open-world games and RPG's. It will change how you play, you don't feel limited to the time you have on your TV so you explore much more in a game, same feeling comes back that we had when we were kids, don't feel limited to time. Can buy a separate dock and switch from TV to TV anytime. Can bring to friend's house with ease. Can play a single-player game with two people just for fun, one person can use the left side of the controller and another can use the right. Breaking the controller in two allows you to veg out on the couch after a long day, no cramping in upper-body area. Perfect for families too with being able break the controller into two and with games like Snipperclips, 1-2 Switch, Arms, Mario Kart 8, and Splatoon 2 on the way.
One issue is that I think you absolutely need the Pro Controller to get the full home console experience out of this especially for single-player games.

Feels perfect in hands. Very ergonomic. Nice texture and weight. Buttons feel good to press. Motion controls and amiibo reader inside. I got mine a day after the Switch and I have to say it wasn't until then that the Switch felt like a successful hybrid console. Essential for home TV setup.

Pointless upgrade, OK buy for new owners

For people without the 4K TV, this is a pointless purchase, get the PS4 Slim instead. $100 for an unnoticeable upgrade to only some games is not worth it.
For people with a 4K TV, The PS4 Pro will feature upscaled games to 4K, this doesn't mean games will run natively on 4K but they will look better on your 4K TV. If you are more interested in HDR, then the original PS4 and PS4 Slim will both offer it. This doesn't run 4K UHD discs for the sake of Sony selling a separate one. Xbox One S has the 4K player and also plays HDR games for $100 less, better deal.
Unless you absolutely want a small jump in graphics for SOME games and have $100 to spend, then you don't need this.

6 reasons why to get xbox one s over ps4 pro. Just to mention I do own both systems but if I had to choose one I would go with xbox one s. Here is why. 1 xbox has uhd player built in ps4 not. Considering buying a uhd player cost just as much as a ps4. 2 this holiday xbox one s comes bundled with all 5 halo games for $299.99. More that's $100 cheaper than ps4. 2 xbox live service blows psn out of the water. Psn has too many outages. 3 exclusive games ps4 has uncharted 4 now to me that's the only good exclusive they have. Wait the last of us too but I can play that on ps3. Xbox has gears of war 4, halo 5 and collection, forza, recore and dead rising 3&4 but don't get me wrong ps4 has some good one coming out later on days gone and God of war but this is later not now. 4 xbox play anywhere if u havee a pc some games u buy digitally u can play on xbox one and pc and I only buy once. 5 backwards compatibility some 360 games u can play on xbox one. Not all games but it's still growing. Ps4 has ps4 now where u can play ps3 and ps2 games for 100 a year. That's my reasons to buy xbox one over ps4. If in no rush wait for xbox project Scorpio it will destroy both systems I'm hearing.

I would say if it had a 4K UHD disc player it would be a worthy upgrade, but for a little boost in fps OR resolution (usually not both), for some games, I think I'd be cheated out for $400. BTW, i have all the consoles as well including PS4.

i think he meant he has both the xbox one and ps4, not xbox one s and ps4 pro. i agree with you on most points but you did leave out everything on 4K and bloodborne. i agree on the harddrive, i dont understand the argument for ps4 pro's harddrive, i dont want a 5400 rpm hard drive so i dont want to pay extra for a 1tb one.

sorry im not wrong though. yes there will be some native 4K games but those are already graphically weak games, you can run any ps2 game at 4k for instance with this hardware, doesnt mean that battlefield 1 will run 4k unless you turn the textures and effects way down. the reviews already came in and everybody says the upgrade is ok, not anything fantastic, not really worth the upgrade either. the games wont show much of a difference unless played side by side. like i said, pointless upgrade ( as in spending another $400 on top of the $400 you already paid for on your first ps4, maybe you can sell your original for $125-150 but youre still paying over $650 for your ps4 pro so far). i got the xbox one s and ps4, not an xbox fanboy, i love ps4 exclusives. but i got a 4k hdr home theater and realized the upgrade is not worth paying extra $250-400+ on playing some of the games that will support it. remember the slightly higher res on the games are for games made for 1080p, youre never going to play games made specifically for a higher res by the end of this generation..

I'm a true gamer. I've been gaming since I had the ability to game. The ps4 pro is amazing for GAMERS. It is 2 to 3 times the power of the normal ps4 and it's only 399! It's only 100 dollars more then the normal ps4 (slim) and for those who are upset about it not having a 4K Blu Ray movie player built in....I get it...but to give it a low score because of that makes no since. PlayStation is for gaming! It's in the title..PLAYstation! The price of the ps4 pro would be 600 to 800 dollars if it did and no one would buy it (just like when PS3 came out for 600 bucks, people were upset and it didn't sell well) plus hardly anyone has 4K tvs yet and there's only like 50 movies in 4K! PLEASE understand that this is for gamers. Plus you don't need a 4K HDR tv to benefit. The ps4 pro also improves on 1080p TVs like better graphics and faster frame rates and further viewing distance and overall much better performance. Having a 4K HDR tv is the cherry on top. If you have a 4K HDR tv then you can play games in 4K HDR. At the end of the day if your fan of tech and performance get the ps4 pro. I will

PS4 Pro's graphics card is maybe 2 times more powerful than original PS4. All the other parts are almost the same including CPU. The only way to up your horsepower to 225% without bottlenecking is to make sure you upgrade all the parts. To get true 4K on the very new and high quality graphics games, you need to have a console around 4X more powerful than the original PS4 since 4K is 4 times the resolution than 2K, not 2 times more. the only native 4k games will be very lowly detailed games (Elder Scrolls Online) compared to the brand new graphics heavy games.

For $400, its a steal. This unit packs some serious punch for pennies on the dollar. All this fuss about no 4k blu ray player this and that. They cut out the fat and kept this machine what it should always be. A gaming system. 30$ a pop for uhd movies on disc is just silly. Your money is going into the graphics dept. and nothing more. IT's a GAMING console, not an overpriced UHD disc movie player. I would never use my PS4 for blu ray movies anyways. I have a dedicated blu ray player for that. Why wear out your drive motor for movies when its meant for GAMES! I think over the years I have watched gamers get more and more spoiled and they complain over almost anything. The graphics chip in this unit is worth about $250 alone! AT $400 you want a 4k Blu Ray disc player as well?! SMH, Go buy your Highly under powered XBONE S. But hey, it has a 4k blu ray player and processing power at 1/3 the power of a Ps4 Pro! Sounds not a like a good deal to me, considering its a Gaming Console! lol.

it's already a media player, it plays dvd's and blu-ray's, they didnt want to spend the extra $15 and give its customers a 4k blu ray player. good for xbox because thats a reason people will buy it.

So I bought mine yesterday and it crashed while playing call of duty. Yes it looks great but frame rates dip too much and aren't consistent.
A lot of websites are warning consumers that games such as skyrim are having frame rates dip into the lower 20s. The console is loud and gets hot rather quickly. Be sure to place in a well ventilated area. If you own a ps4 I can not recommend this console. If you don't have a 4k tv I would advise against buying this since most games will still run at 30fps.
I would recommend buying the regular ps4 over this at least until sony can fix all of its bugs and over heating problem.

This is exactly it and professional reviews are just as sub-par. I wanted one if it was good and I keep getting tempted but then I see stuff like this. Too many people are hesitant. If not many people are going to get one, most devs won't optimize the enhanced visuals.

Making link right handed again, doesn't make any sense. There is no motion control for this game so why are they not sticking to tradition.Ugh, huge Zelda fan here and I'm upset on that part, that's like making Mario have no mustache to me. Other then that it looks like a great game. Be prepared for a better version to come out for the new system though.

Perhaps the following questions has already been answered, but I want to be doubly sure before I put some money on the table. 1. Will the PS4 PRO have a Blu Ray player? 2. Can the PS4 PRO be compatible with any 1080p TV? 3. Can ANY PS4 game be play?
PS4 PRO has blu-ray player that plays DVD's and blu-ray discs but not 4K UHD blu-rays. The PS4 PRo is compatible with any 1080p tv. It can play any current and upcoming PS4 game.
