Dirty in 3 days

I've had this case for 3 days and it already has a nice brown tinge. The case material seems to take any ambient dirt or skin oils and sucks them up like a sponge. I've tried washing it but it looks like it's pretty permanent. I'm not sure how good it is at protection but I can't get past the discoloration.
