Connect this Nintendo NES Classic Edition console system to your television for hours of fun. The all-in-one system includes 30 favorite NES games such as Final Fantasy, Super Mario Bros and Mega Man 2. This Nintendo NES Classic Edition comes with an HDMI cable, controller and power adaptor for out-of-the-box gaming enjoyment.
This is definitely worth the price. I understand that, like other classic consoles, it is not expandable, so it is what it is. One of the greatest things is that my kids are getting to experience NES for the first time and they love it too!
I think this system is great, but this is what I'm not giving it a 5: 1. Controller cord is too short and forces you to buy an extension. A wireless controller would have been nice. 2. I feel like the number of games could have been more than 30, especially when you consider other classic consoles like Sega contain 80 games.
Some of the game choices are questionable (ie - I would have preferred Tetris over Dr. Mario). I have to assume there is going to be a "volume 2" which includes games that are conspicuous by their absence. It definitely left me wanting a little bit more.
Overall a lot of fun. Looking forward to getting a second controller when it's available.
Read about your favorite classic console games in Playing with Power: Nintendo NES Classics. This hardcover volume includes essays and information from Garitt Rocha on 17 games such as Donkey Kong and The Legend of Zelda. When you're not reading, Playing with Power: Nintendo NES Classics slips into a case that looks like an old console game.

I was actually hoping for a comprehensive list of every NES game somewhere in this book, instead of just a few essays... now that would have been something to collect.
