In the otherworldly land of Aterra, the Star God reigns in the hearts and minds of its subjects, worshipped and beloved. So, when a mysterious labyrinth begins spawning a horde of horrific monsters, the Star God responds with a solution to save the people from a certain and hideous fate. By instilling certain young adults with the power to fight the monsters, the Star God creates the Disciples — and you are among them. Tasked with the momentous duty of saving the world from the stuff of nightmares, you must do whatever it takes to live up to the name of God's Gift. What you'll soon realize is that the power of love is as necessary for victory as the power of battle.Faced with a terrifying slew of enemies, you and seven other Disciples must find a way to help your world survive. Along with the power to fight these monsters, the Star God gifted the Disciples with the ability to combine powers and give life to Star Children, ethereal beings that join your side in battle. The strength of the Star Children depends entirely on the strength of your bond with the other Disciples, however, so you must use thoughtful communication and attention to carefully manage your partnerships. Bring up to three teams of three Star Children with you inside the labyrinth, and depending on their combination of classes, they'll use certain skills to affect the flow of battle, as well as get bonus boosts in stats. Pay close attention to your adversaries — each monster has a weak spot that will be your key to effectiveness during combat. Additionally, keeping an eye on the order of turns, the Ether Gauge, the Chain Drive meter and the strength of your family's bond can play into the likelihood of victory. It's time to harness the power given to you by God and defeat the evil that awaits.
