Large screen and fast moving laptop packing punch

I have used a bunch of laptops in the past and always look for the ease of use and the lightweight capacity in a device. This computer has both and not only is it easy to use since its a Chromebook, its lightweight and thin and comes with its own pouch/case to carry the laptop in your arm or in your hands. The device is similar to other Chromebooks, logs on to Google services at the start and gives you access to all Google tools like Google Docs and Presentations etc. The screen size is what impressed me the most, at a large 15" screen, it is one of the biggest Chromebook screens I have seen, plus its Acer, which is a reliable company with sustainable computers that can take a beating and still keep going. This machine looks like it could take a little bit of serious usage and still keep going and its a pretty fast machine as well, with a large enough memory to give you speeds zooming around the internet and streaming and also working with social media and business applications. I am not sure this would be large enough for serious usage, but its adequate for everyday internet browsing etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very large machine, but very smart and easy to use

I have used a lot of coffee makers, expresso makers and even combos of each and each had their own intricacies and all sorts of buttons. This machine is first off very intelligent, I actually used this for an entire day, switching up different coffee blends, trying out each selection, iced coffee, expresso and Cappuccino and Latte Macchiat. This machine is like having your own private Starbucks in your kitchen and it has all the fancy features with some cool intelligent buttons to make it easier to figure out how to make these concoctions. There is even an easy to use milk frother which looks complicated however it is easy to use and also detaches in two pieces so you can clean it in the dishwasher. The thing about Phillips products, they tend to make products that make life easier, not harder. The one issue I saw with this machine, is where to put it? It barely fit on my counter and it didnt fit under my cabinets so it sort of sticks out and is the focal point in my kitchen. I had to eventually put this away in a cabinet it was so large and bulky. The other issue is the price, and not sure I would pay this much money for a fancy all in one coffee maker which, yes, its smart, but do you need this many features?

Good that it pairs well with PS5, not worth price

I have had experience with many different sized monitors, styles, and pixels and graphics. When I see a product from Sony, I usually jump at the chance to use it with my existing technology which includes PS5. However, I just don't get this monitor and actually scratch my head at the not only the price point of this device but what it does differently from a run of the mill gaming monitor that is most likely half the cost.
First off this monitor is white in color which is supposed to match your PS5 system, I get it, however its an odd color scheme for any monitor. Secondly, the stand its built on is a weird tripod triangle stand that is cumbersome to install and looks like it is not able to support the gigantic heavy weight this monitor portrays. The 27 inches is a cinderblock of weight and the monitor although just 27 inches looks actually larger since the stand is three plastic pieces welded together. The ease of use of this monitor is ok and I guess using it with my PS5 was cool and all but there is no way I feel this monitor is any different than my Samsung gaming monitor which costs less than half of these monitor. This monitor has some fancy inzone technology, however it does not seem worth the upleveling for this device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Improved performance and definitely larger

I have owned a few GoPro cameras and all models are pretty cool and each come with serious intuitive design and all are easy to set up and use. This model is no different and it is a bit larger than most and a bit more top heavy but it packs a punch and provides serious power and imaging and it is one of the better models I have seen. It is one of the most tech friendly cameras out there and syncs with the GoPro app quite nicely. It is also one of the easiest to set up and download movies from. I think it worked well when I added it to the front of my bike and also it worked great when I added it to a helmet when I went skiing. Its user friendly nature and the intuitive app make GoPro of course the leader in this space and make filming videos fun and easy and even my kids like using this camera and playing around with all its features. The add ons are inexpensive and easy to add and enhance the capability of the camera quite nicely. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an action camera.

Easy, entry level drone, smaller in size, simple

I dont have a lot of experience with drones and in fact Ill admit it, I am not a drone expert and I would never claim to be one. This device is the perfect "entry" level drone and is easy to get started, to use and not much of a difficult set up to get it going. Drones in general should not be complicated and this particular drone is smaller than most and not the largest high end ones you will see in the stores. It is compact enough with enough power to take off and land with ease.
You will need a smart phone to get this going and you will add an application on your phone to start the process and get this drone off the ground. This comes with a nice case and also a set of uncomplicated controls that allow you to power this thing up and better yet, it comes also with a camera so you are able to get this off the ground and to see your flight path. I am not sure what other reviewers were talking about, I was able to lift this off easily and land it seamlessly and didnt break any propellers or components. I would recommend this as a starting drone for anyone like me, that does not have the experience level.

Nice device, sits easily in ear canal and small

I have previously used Bose sleep ear buds and did not like them and they did not work. I have a partner that snores badly, so bad, I needed to wear ear plugs to drown out the snoring and sleep in another room in the house and it was awful. I needed something to drown out the noise and especially to play a sound and also wake me up with an alarm. This device does it all and I actually thought it was more comfortable than Bose, sat in the ear easier and worked seamlessly with the paired app which allowed for white noise and also had a built in alarm. The pair of earbuds does not weigh a lot and also fit snugly inside the ear canal and is easy to use. I tried these for 5 consecutive nights and they certainly cut out the snoring and are a blocker of the sounds. I sleep on my side so I couldnt wear regular ear buds since they hurt my ears and stuck out. This device lays flatter and is easier to seat inside the ear and made a serious difference in my sleep patterns. Not sure yet if I will regularly wear these but so far so good.

Innovative technology, still has some kinks though

I have owned two other Roombas in the past and also the Braava (see my other reviews, horrible device). I actually really like these devices and do not use them as much anymore, due to the fact I turned to stick cordless vacs and mops. However, when I saw an all in one combination from iRobot, I jumped at the chance to test it out. Here is my assessment:
Pros: This is some of the most innovative technology you will ever find on the market, an all in one robot that maps your entire house, has a camera on the front to sense objects in its way and also can sense when it is about to go on to the carpet and lifts its mopping device up so its just a vacuum. I mean you cannot get better than that and forget the knock offs, they dont work and they dont do as good a job. Plus this device is so smart, it syncs with Alexa or Google and can sense if its about to go through a pet waste mess and steers around it? I mean this is smart, and Roomba takes the cake as the best of the best. Everything from the smart app with all the bells and whistles to the full house mapping, scheduling, self emptying docking station etc. After you map your house, this device can be scheduled to vacuum daily or weekly. Plus this device can hold a charge and can hold dirt and debris and goes back to its dock to empty automatically. Gets in hard to reach places and under chairs and tables etc.
Cons: With any smart device there is going to be issues and this device has some. Yes its smart, holds fluid and cleaning solution to mop, but not sure how good a job that does on wood floors, leaves streaks at times, sometimes doesnt lower mop on hard wood and ends up just vacuuming, also leaves balls of dog hair on rugs and does not sweep up everything, I see plenty of dirt after this is done going over the floors. The jury is still out if I need to ditch my stick vaccs entirely or keep them to almost clean up after this thing is done. Fluid cannister hard to push back in, awkward design. Mapping the house and designating rooms is a pain and cumbersome. Mapping out obstacles is sort of a pain.
Still in all this is a smart vacuum and I do like the innovation.

Small footprint and ok power but almost too small

I actually like Shark vacuums and really enjoy how the company continues to innovate their product lines. I have tried several Shark Vacs and some I like and others I did not. This vac, I am still unsure about and have used it a few times now. First off, it is a small cordless stick vac with the newest concept similar to a robot vac, a self emptying dirt dispenser that the vac not only charges itself on, but also cleans itself out.
The vac is lightweight and easy to maneuver around floors of all types. It didnt hold a charge for that long which is one big complaint, maybe to do an upstairs of 4 rooms, it died shortly after, even before cleaning the 4th room. The buttons on the vac are in weird places and I accidently pushed the wrong set of buttons which caused the dirt cannister to open and dump all over the newly cleaned floor. The attachments click into the bottom but to switch them out, you have to also push some oddly placed buttons. The sucking power is adequate, not the best but ok for a machine this size. After finishing I attempted to place this on the charger/self cleaning dispenser and it took me a while to figure out how to slide the vac onto the charger which took 3 tries. Once on, it cleaned out the cannister however I asked myself, why does this vac need a self cleaning base, when all you have to do is pop the dirt cannister button and dump it into the trash? Maybe I am missing the general concept here but there is literally no use or need for this self cleaning charging stand which actually takes up a good amount of space. In all, I am not sure I would recommend this to a friend and I would have a hard time using this for any big jobs.

Fast processor and graphics card, however still HP

I am not a huge fan of HP computers, especially laptops and I have owned 3 other HP systems in the past and they just don't have the life span of other PC's I have owned including Dell and MAC. I have used a few gaming computers and I am a novice PC gamer, having previously owned an Alienware system. This system is the newer line of HP gaming computers, going head to head with Alienware systems. The thing I liked about this system, it was easy to set up and is compatible with the latest hardware out there, including the Logitech line of external gaming keyboards and mouse devices. It was easy to get this system up and running and I was online and gaming quickly. I was also able to add my XBOX Game Pass membership, which integrates into Windows 11 quickly and is its own application with all the latest games to download. This system has a lot of both memory and healthy battery life to make it a serious competitor to other systems. The 16" beauty of a screen gives you plenty of real estate to view your games in high definition allowing for serious game play. I would highly recommend this system, even though it would not of been my first choice as an HP brand, it still does a good job and is impressive.

Solid heavy duty XBOX Controller, durable/sturdy

I have used a lot of controllers for both XBOX and Playstation and I like a hefty, weighted type controller that can last the abuse of heavy game play. This controller holds up to that task with a sturdy, durable exterior, and heavy duty shell. The problem with most XBox controllers, they are just a shell of plastic and seem durable but when it comes down to it, they easily break and dont hold up to heavy game play. This controller is similar to other higher priced controllers, has interchangeable buttons and seems like it can hold up to the rigors of heavy game play. The only issue I saw with this controller, it is in fact battery operated and did not come as a rechargeable controller with a charging stand. It also is not compatible with charging stations due to the battery door not being compatible with the included battery door designs of rechargeable stands. I am not a fan of battery operated controllers due to the length of battery life and was surprised the door was not compatible with my charging stand. However still a solid controller and one I will enjoy using.

I just received this TV today and first off delivery was somewhat smooth with one or two bumps but nothing big. This TV is everything you hear about minus the silly speakers along the side bar edges. The 4K is something to see and with this set buying the Media Player along with it is essential since you won't have to bring a technician to upgrade your TV like the XBR65X900A. This set is already up to date and has the latest upgrades. Within 10 minutes I was up and running and turning this on it literally blew me away. The 4K and even the HD are beautiful with no sign of pixels and the 65" shows this off even more than I would imagine the 55". What I noticed is that Sony did a very good job of streamlining their applications and internet content and now has tons more similar to a Roku box. Also the menus and preferences are picture icons and are larger. They also did away with the flat stand and went to a chrome heavy duty ring which is heavier but they did do away with a feature I enjoyed which was the tilt screen and now it is totally vertical which I can live with.
The 4K content on the media player is quite impressive with all sorts of demos of how cool this set looks and they also loaded up 10 movies in 4K of all new titles and TV shows to show off how glamorous 4K looks. For this price, the picture needs to look pristine and it does and was worth every penny. I am very satisfied with this purchase. One thing, be careful ordering from Amazon when it comes to Ceva shipping, They came through in the end but the tracking was sub par and never clued me in to where this item was the entire time to delivery window. For those other reviews saying this is not worth it and not ready for prime time, just wait, Sony is not a dumb company,...remember they were the first to jump on board with Blu Ray loading it into the new PS3s. 4K is here to stay and you won't be sorry. I have owned 4 Sony TVs and not one has done me wrong. They also throw in 1 year of Hulu Plus and Netflix streaming so you can't go wrong there.

Since I posted this review, wanted to comment that the reason I added Amazon shipping, since I did not purchase this at Best Buy. I was told Best Buy could not get this out to me until October 10-11 so I wanted quick shipping and plus Amazon is tax free.

I had just installed 2 2nd generation Nests and 3 weeks later this was released so I boxed them up and returned both to Best Buy and swapped them out for this generation version. Those of you who think there are no big differences in generations, you are dead wrong. This generation of Nest is thinner, larger more bold screen and has a Farsight setting which enhances the entire dial, noticing you from about 20 feet away looking at the thermostat. Plus it seems more intuitive and is just sleeker looking. What happened was Google bought these guys and said, lets update this product to make it look like a modern product put out by a Google company. Plus this syncs nicely with all 9 of my 2nd gen Nest Protects and is just a beautiful product. So go ahead and trade in your 2nd gen Nest Thermostat because you won't be sorry!

we were looking at sony because they were passive 3d.but says come with4 pair of active glasses.
