Great range and clarity, cannot use base while on

This has great range and clarity, ok battery life. If you buy this be aware: base station its hooked to will not be able to be used when handset is in use. And if you want to transfer call to handset, it must be done via connected base.
Highly aggravating if you didnt read before buying, but that is why price is very attractive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ideal for money, understand tech before buying.

Its exactly what you expect for the money. Call clarity and features are just fine. We beat up this phone and its wired counterparts 14hrs daily, even have a portable unit with "line2" designated. You NEED 4 separate lines to make it function correctly. When using remote handset on line 2, it will only let handset communicate thru that line via THAT BASE. And it will show, line in use or busy. Which is clearly stated in the instructions. What is slightly obnoxious you cant designate area codes for each line. Its something that wouldnt be an issue for most businesses, but we have one out of state line.
I would recommend this to a friend!

base with multiple cordless sets
I am looking for a phone with 3 or 4 lines with cordless phones that can access multiple lines too. Can you do that with this phone? I only see the word Line on there.
No, this is not the system for you. The amount of individual bases req to achieve what you want may be excessive.

Can the auto attendant forward calls to an outside line?
No. Auto Attendant is basically a recording you create, triggers after second ring.
