I used to have a food processor and a blender but haven't in many years. I miss making my famous Potato Leek soup and Corn Chowder! So, my husband bought me this hand blender for Christmas. Oh. My. Word!!! It is SO EASY to make creamed soups and without the mess - just blend right in the pan!
I have also gotten into nutritional milk shakes that just don't blend well by stirring or shaking, especially if you want to add fruit or berries. Well, with this blender, it's a snap! I even add chopped ice and it crushes it further to make a nice, thick shake!
