Upgrade your computer's performance by adding more power and RAM with this PNY memory kit. Easily add 16GB of DDR3 RAM to your notebook PC with two separate 8GB parts. The 1600 MHz memory speed helps achieve fast computing, while the lower power consumption in this PNY memory kit saves money and energy.

Not a compatible swap for DDR3 L Ram
on March 7, 2016

Tried to upgrade my Acer to 16gb of RAM from 8Gb but my computer won't boot up after inserting the new memory. After researching online the DDR3 uses more power (1.5v) than my current DDR3 L (1.35v). My BIOS will not let me change the settings to work with the new memory. So everyone please keep in mind that DDR3 does not necessarily work the same as DDR3 L.

Will this meet the requirement of DDR3L SDRAM

My new laptop says it requires sdram is this the same type? It is a Lenovo Laptop
My laptop wouldn't work with this memory. Some forums I read up on about this specifically mentioned Lenovo computers and I don't believe that you can use this memory either. Try to find DDR3 L specifically. Below is link to the thread I referenced.
