Five stars from a non die hard fan

I would have to say, EA got it right on this game. I have played the game for close to ten hours now and still have the itch to play it more. Here is a list of the things that made me give this five stars.
-Graphics and worlds look amazing- gives a real authentic Star Wars feel.
-Game modes- Battle Front has a very good variety of modes to play. All of which are fun to play alone or with some buddies.
-Load outs- The system they have used with "cards" that you bring in a hand for each battle is a nice idea and works very well here. As you rank up and get more points you can purchase better items to help you on the battle field. Also some that give you short bonuses to use at certain moments to get good kills or take down a vehicle.
-Customization and emotes- You have many options to change the head of your player and the higher ranks include a few different body pieces and alien heads. They gave a good amount of emots you can use just like in Destiny, they are funny at times but really pointless.
-Vehicles- There are a pretty good amount of vehicle options that are in the movies. Flying was done very well and is a blast to get into dog fights.
-Heros- Getting to play as Skywalker or Vader and more makes the moment very exciting. You feel like a bad man when you get on a mad kill streak taking down enemies. Best moment I have had is running into Vader while I was Skywalker, think most player enjoyed just watching it as well.
Only con in this game for me is the Heavy Blasters. Seems players have grabbed on to the easiest gun to use and get easy kills with. Every game has an OP weapon but just way too many people using it.
Again this game I would say is amazing. I am not a die hard Star Wars fan and this game has me hooked. My Halo and COD have taken a seat for a good amount of time while I continue to play this game. I would tell any gamer looking for something to sink their paws into to get this game.
Adding this in so no one thinks I am with EA or paid review or something stupid like that. I also reviewed EA's NFS game and gave it two start, check it out please. If I was with EA or something I wouldn't have given another EA Game a bad review. This review is my personal opinion and I do think it is a five star game based on my interest and experience. Just like some people gave NSF a five star and I gave it 2... Its all opinions, don't let someones review decide on buying a game, you wont know until you try it if its something you will actually like or not.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wanted to like this game but it lets down big time

To start off, this is a good game. It it just not a good "underground" racing game like EA said it was going back to. This game is pretty fun but lacks a lot of what I assumed would have been in the game.
The racing in Need for speed was a lot of fun. It is pretty easy to get in and win some races. Also the graphics are top notch and game does look amazing. The cars the game has in it have great detail, plus some pretty cool but limited things to customize. The story is decent enough and cut scenes do look nice, as they are filmed like a movie with real people.
Now my issues with the game would make me for sure not purchase it. I was 100% going to buy this ahead of time but lucky me I have the EA Pass and was able to do the 10 hour trail. After the trail I have changed my mind and decided to save my money.
Starting off, this game requires it to always be online when playing. I find this funny as there is pretty much zero multiplayer unless you are playing with friends who also have the game. Just like the last Need for Speed title, it is a single player game that happens to have other random players driving around the huge open world, so occasionally you might see one drive by you. There is no option to jump into a game room with your customized car and do sprint races or anything else with random people. The story mode is fine but the actual acting is painful to watch with the words bae, dope, monster energy drinks at every turn, and just making the race community look like idiots.
My other issue is that apparently you have loads of customization options.. NOT TRUE! My second vehicle purchase I found this out. I was not able to change the hood, front or rear bumpers, grill, or even side skirts. I was left with one body kit, a spoiler and rims, oh and side fenders. Each area you can change has maybe 2 options such as if the car has the option to change a front bumper, you will have two to choose from. Also the car selection is something around 30 cars if I am not mistaken. I would be fine with the small car selection if I was actually able to fully customize the cars in all aspects rather than a very select few.
This was a game I really did wish I liked. This is a fun racing game but again, if you were wanting a game like the older underground series or even Carbon, you will be disappointed. With the lack of any multiplayer, very little customization compared to older underground/carbon games, and annoying acting with too much product placement, this game gets a sad two stars from me.
My advice, get the EA pass for five bucks for a month and do the 10 hour trial.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
