Great monitor, but get it on sale!
on August 27, 2016

Well when I say great, it's really not all that great, but if you can get it for $150 or less then it's a great monitor! The colors and viewing angles are wonderful. How do they even make something so crazy thin?? At 27" I don't notice individual pixels like I thought I might. I game a little bit on this monitor too and the blacks are better than my late TFN monitor which I greatly appreciate and I don't notice any noticeable lag.
A couple of bad things about it, when my computer turns off the screen, but the computer is still on the screen turns black but not off. When the computer goes to sleep or is powered off the monitor will turn off. What this means is that at night you'll be able to see the light bleed (I can't see it during the day). Light bleed on my screen is not uniform, the bottom left and top right are brighter. I was concerned when saw this but I really can't tell a difference when the screen is on. Also the stand isn't all that sturdy, I wish it was brighter, and the anti-reflective coating could be a little bit better. Overall though I think this is the best monitor when it goes on sale, but at it's regular price there are better ones out there.

It's ok

I really thought I would like this monitor more than I did. Coming from a normal 25" everything on this monitor seems smaller and harder to read. The extra space on the sides of the screen for gaming is kinda nice but I was bummed to find that it doesn't support AMD FreeSync (one of the guys in the store told me it did). I also wish that it was a bit brighter. I'm not a big multi-tasking person so I didn't use the multi-screen setup that much, but it was neat to not have to scroll sideways on the screens. I would recommend this to someone who is a big multi-tasker or gamer who wants that extra view on a budget. I think for everyone else either get the bigger screen or keep looking.

Great gaming monitor!
on August 27, 2016

So coming from a 25" TFN monitor that supposedly had a 5ms response time I was 30ms faster on this (I tested using the human benchmark reaction test), so that's pretty sweet! It's also really bright which is great in the daytime but at night I had to turn it way down (I just use a different display scene, switching is quick and easy) . The anti-glare coating on it works great too!
A couple of bad things about this is that it's viewing angles aren't very good, colors seem off a little bit, and the stand seems to keep rotating the screen a little so it's not completely horizontal. Overall this really is a great gaming monitor.

Wow Logitech, you really stepped up your game!

These actually sound like headphones! They're lacking in the lower mids but you can actually use these to listen to music! It's awesome that headphone companies are paying more attention to audio quality and I love how they are all using the 4-pin 3.5mm cable. These have a very wide soundstage then turn on Dolby Headphones and they shine even more. I think this is the first time I can actually tell the difference between say the left and the left rear surround channels.
The mic is where these still need some work. It's a marked improvement from the previous series but they still have a long way to go. It does a much better job at blocking out background noise but it still picks up a lot of what's going on around you. It's too quiet, too compressed, and it doesn't pick up lower frequencies. So no radio announcer voice for you - don't plan on streaming or recording game play with these.
They are generally comfortable. The earcups are larger than the previous series so you'll feel more pressure on your jaw. They get warm but not sweaty. Sadly they leak quite a bit of noise so if you're looking for noise isolation these may not be the best for you. The rgb features are cool if you're into that sorta thing. I love the fact that you can use USB cable and / or the 3.5mm cable.

Sounds good but mic quality isn't great
on July 9, 2016

This sounds great! I think this is more geared to laptop users as you can really tell the difference in sound quality. SBX works wonderful and there are a lot of features to this device. To get the 192khz you have to choose direct stereo. The highest rate you can use with enhancements is 24 bit 96khz sadly, but I think you'd be hard pressed to tell any difference between the 96khz and 192khz. My main problem with this is that the microphone quality on this sounds tiny and compressed. I have the Sound Blaster E1 which sounds wide and full, night and day difference. So I wouldn't use your mic through this if you plan on streaming or recording games but it'll work fine for communicating with those you game with.

Feels cheap
on July 9, 2016
Posted by: KevinW
My main problem with these is the build. They feel cheap... like dollar store cheap. Plastic and creeks everywhere. The top cushion on the headband looks super easy to break off. The Logitech G933/G33 are all plastic too but they feel solid. I would have much rather paid a little extra (or get rid of that rgb lighting) for a better built headset.
As far as comfort goes I absolutely love the earpads. Super super comfy but sadly they aren't deep enough as my ears touch the inside. They stay on pretty good but the headband doesn't have as much cushion as I would have liked. I wouldn't say it made my head sore but I always knew it was there if that makes sense. My ears got warm but not too sweaty. Also this is made for big heads (thank you!), so if you're a kid this might not work.
So how do they sound? Out of the box not all that special. To me it's missing mids and especially highs, but once you EQ them, they sound great! I really love the mic controls. You can set how sensitive to background noise they are and have several other settings to help out there. The frequency response and noise cancellation of the mic is wonderful and you can turn up the gain a lot! But sadly the actual quality of the mic isn't all that spectacular, like it sounds really compressed. Compared to the Logitech G930 the sound and mic quality of this is more than double which is about what you're paying.

Yea, Logitech finally got good drivers!
on June 26, 2016

So I've had these for over a year and a half and quite frankly hatted them because they constantly kept disconnecting. Well I'm pleased to report that Logitech has finally gotten their act together and now it does a pretty good job of staying connecting.
Sound quality is so-so. Good enough for playing games and watching movies but not good enough for listening to music. The mic sounds terrible, but does the job. They do a good job isolating sound and they are pretty comfortable, I wear them for hours without feeling like I need to take a head break.

Sony 10R
on April 9, 2015
Posted by: KevinW
I think the reviews are all these type of headsets are grouped together, so this one's about the 10R. Well the good is that they are super comfortable and look great! They go around the ear without feeling too big. They sound pretty natural to me but they've got a weird reverb effect going on which reminds me of listening to music in a bathroom. It sounds very bland like the notes are mashing into each other. Sony makes some great sounding headsets but these sadly just aren't one of them.

Great set but bassheads will be dissipointed

I love these! They are very crisp and clear. They have bass but not a lot of it. They are also pretty comfortable to wear. If you (and those around you) can tolerate them being open these are hard to beat.

Fancy!!

I bought this a year and a half ago and it's still going strong.
Good:
- fit (feels great! I use it for hours without any issues and it has some kind of anti-sweat coating so your hand doesn't get all clammy.)
- wireless
- buttons, but not too many of them
- easy to change dpi
- hyper scrolling
- 3 led lights on the side help you see what dpi selection or profile you're using
Bad:
- Battery life, you'll most likely just keep it plugged in like I do
- Cord is too stiff - but you get used to it
- Laser likes hard mouse pads better
- Sensor is sensitive to dust (pick up a can of air if you buy this and give it a spray once every couple of months.)
- Sensor isn't as good as Logitech's Gx02/303/100/400 sensors
- The G on the palm rest is wearing off
Yes the G700s is aging and is on it's way out the door, but it's still a wonderful mouse.

Great headset for anything
By LeWildflower
I think this headset is super great. It goes farther than I expected, but that's natural because of the wireless 2.4ghz. It stays crystal clear and just beeps a little bit when you're going too far from your little wifi dongle. I wish there was a mute button, but other than that, it's pretty awesome.
