I was spending my last night of vacation rehashing life inspiring music from my past through my amped Klipsch 1's when I decided to look up Mad Season & anything I might have missed. I am a die hard Layne fan & have been since I first saw the video for Man in the Box way back when MTV actually played music & so much so that my wife & I changed our daughters middle name to Layne upon finalization of adoption.I came across this scheduled release for the "box set" & couldn't believe my eyes! Any release of compiled audio & video footage of their short existence is a long awaited present for people who miss the "Long Gone Day". Thanks Mike! BTW your guitar work is superior.
What's great about it: The re-introduction of Mad Season
The Image ONE stereo headphone brings high-performance Klipsch sound to people who prefer an on-ear design, and is among the first to feature an Apple-based mic and three-button remote for taking calls and controlling music on iPods, iPhones or iPads.
First, yhis is the 3rd pair of phones I have tried recently looking for a sound that would try to equal quality external speakers. the other 2 were 1. dre BEATS HD. $200.00 loud heavy bass which muttles horribly the mids & highs regardless of EQ settings. The ipod controls are poorly designed w/ no definiton to feel so don't try operating them in the dark or w/out looking. 2. AKG k172HD $220.00 . Didn't take 10 seconds to realize that I had used $20.00 phones that sounded much better, maybe I got a bad pair enough said. Finally, upon my 3rd visit to best buy I picked the Klipsch ONE phones $150.00 and took them out of the box in the store to try them. Immediately I could hear the definition in the music. The head room is incredible, the bass is responsive & perfectly balanced, the subtle nuances in the music are well defined & the vocals are crisp. They are very comfortable, to the degree that I forget they are on my head (right now) & well raised control buttons for effortless use. Thanks Klipsch, my search is finally over.
