Fun way to spend almost 2 hours in the company of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia and Julia Roberts who have great on screen chemistry. The premise is lifted from the 1960 original Rat Pack movie. This is a movie you can watch over and over again.

I rate this David vs Goliath Hollywood movie 4.5 stars. Although it is "formula-matic", it works! Well written, directed and acted.
DVD in 2.35:1 format with extra features. It deserves a remastered blu-ray release.

Both of these movies may only be 3 stars to some people, but I enjoy the guilty pleasure of 1970 era movies, and Sean Connery, Dyan Cannon, Christopher Walken (film debut), Theresa Russell and Burt Reynolds, are always watchable. The Anderson Tapes (1971), directed by Sidney Lumet and a musical score by Quincy Jones, is reminiscent of Watergate. Physical Evidence (1989) is directed by Michael Crichton with a musical score by Henry Mancini. This is a reasonably priced dvd with a couple of pretty good films with pretty good transfers that benefit from the upgrade to HD with 2.0 sound quality.

This movie centers on the pivotal WWII battle of Stalingrad in which Russian soldiers were used as disposable weapons in order to defeat the enemy. The story centers on the battle between a Russian sniper and a German sniper with a secondary love triangle story. The acting was very good but the accents were not.

This movie is a decent thriller which draws you into the fast paced police call from a kidnapped teenager. The film stars Halle Berry (Jordan Turner), a 911 operator who begins the movie on a call from a teenager who is reporting a hot prowl. Turner feels that something she said or didn't say to the teenager during the call leads to the girl's death. Jordan gets a second chance when she receives a call from another young girl who has been kidnapped and is being held in the truck of a moving car by a madman. The movie follows Jordan as she strives to save the girls life. The movie ending is not cliche.

This movie about being drones in an office is a collection of funny bits that stars Jennifer Aniston, Diedrich Bader, Gary Cole, Todd Duffey, Ron Livingston and directed by Mike Judge. It is a collection of many laugh out loud moments which started, when Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) gets trapped in a traffic jam on the way to work and is passed by an old man with a walker, and the laughs don't stop until the very end.

The broadway version of Jersey Boys', Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, rise to fame. The movie is a walk down memory lane filled with great songs, big breaks and heart aches. John Lloyd Young gives a good performance as Frankie Valli. Directed by Clint Eastwood.

Jason Bateman stars in and directs this clever subversive comedy. Guy Trilby (Jason Bateman) a 40+ participates in a national spelling bee meant for young students by finding a loop hole in the rules. The fun begins with the irreverent behavior of Trilby as he hijacks the competition. A reporter (Kathryn Hahn) tries to find out for us his true motivation to win the title as he pushes ahead to the dismay of the parents, competitors and the officials. A 10-year-old "nerd" Chaitanya (Rohan Chand) who is a fellow competitor befriends Trilby and almost steals the show.

Brad Pitt (Mr Smith) and Angelina Jolie (Mrs Smith) share on screen chemistry in this action film about a couple stuck in a boring slump after five years of martial bliss. The fun starts when their secret double lives are exposed and it turns out that they are both highly paid assassins working for rival organizations and they have become each other's next target. It is a fun combination of comedy, pent-up passion, action and weapons that gives new meaning to till death do us part.
