Ok but two major flaws

The phones work as expected: clear connections (handset and speakerphone), good range. However, there are two design faults that significantly detract from the phone:
1. You can only screen incoming calls at the base answering machine unit (my predecessor Panasonic automatically screened calls at all phones) unless you pick up a remote handset and press [Select] after the message prompt is played to the caller. Each phone DOES announce the Caller ID automatically. Unless you have a handset or the base unit close by, that means you must get up and go to a handset to screen the call, which is inconvenient. It should at least be an option to automatically screen incoming messages on all handsets.
2. The answering machine only records the DAY and time of recorded calls, not the DATE; if you are listening to an old message, you may have no idea what day the call was recorded (WHICH Wednesday?). This is an unnecessary annoyance since the Caller ID includes the date info (that is how the phone automatically sets its time and date).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
