We've been Bosch owners before, and so when the old dishwasher we had in the house we bought 3 years ago finally quit, they were the only brand we considered when we bought a new one.
This is an exceptionally quiet dishwasher. I can tell when it's running, but I usually only hear it when it's draining water through the disposal.
The upper tray for silverware is very nice addition, it cleans great (use the sanitize cycle if you want 'dry' dishes), runs quiet and puts a red dot on the floor under the door to let you know its running. In 6 years of our previous Bosch we never had an issue, and after a month off to a great start with this one.
Downsides are: it's expensive... by the time you buy the electrical install kit and pay for installation and haul away you are looking at very close to $1000 out the door (it does come with a drain hose already however). Likewise, on sanitize the cycle is over 2 hours. This isn't a problem for us, but if you need a higher cycle dishwasher, you should look elsewhere probably.
It's also worth mentioning that a lot of people have issues with the drying and sometimes a 's m e l l' with these dishwashers. I've never had an issue with drying, but do realize that this washer does NOT use a heating element (a good thing IMHO) to dry your dishes. The standard cycle will NOT have dry dishes, only some of the longer cycles like sanitize will steam dry them. Check the manual
As to the s m e l l, we had that problem in our other one and it turns out it was installed wrong. The drain pipe has specific installation instructions, and this unit even comes with a mountable jig to route the line, and if you don't follow them you WILL get water flow back into your dishwasher from your disposal or drain. If you don't use your dishwasher everyday that leads to funk in your drain line and it WILL back up into your dishwasher and make it s m e l l like old garbage. It'll come out eventually after you fix the drain, but make sure it's installed correctly and according to the directions first!

What's great about it: Quiet, cleans great, has lots of space
What's not so great: It's expensive, long'ish cycle time
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is the very best dishwasher for the money?

We just brought a new frig in stainless and would like to match the finish plus our dishwasher is beat.
That depends on your needs I think. Consumer Reports actually likes one of the lower level of Bosch's slightly more on a cost basis. That unit has a plastic bottom and a stainless side and top inside, doesn't have the 3rd tray at the top, but I'm sure is equally quiet.

I spent the extra money for the 3rd tray, the extra cycles, the more adjustable racks and the all stainless inside and I'm glad I did personally.

The cost different is about $250 though, so it IS possible to still get a Bosch and save some dough.
