first class soul and musicianship

The preceding reviewer makes valid points: Gov't Mule is not typically synonymous with remixing. However, Haynes goes out on a reggae limb on this one and in my opinion, the results are fantastic. I admit I that I could do without the multiple "Ram" takes tagged onto the end of the CD. But, tracks 1-8 are of absolute beauty - overflowing with the Mule attributes I love most > soul and musicianship. Even the Ram remixes have their moments - different lyrics, different soul.
Warren LIGHTS IT UP on this album and Warren, if you're reading... drop any of these songs into a set and I'll be all ears!
I would recommend this to a friend!
