I prefer my Gold wireless headset for more immersive game play (wires tend to distract me. Yes, like a cat.), BUT when I lose charge or my son wants to play, this is my go to gear!

Being in my field, I'm more inclined toward PC gaming because my $2,500 build can run circles around the PS4, however consoles obviously have their benefits. The biggest benefit for me, is that my impatient self doesn't have to wait two years for PC ports. The graphics aren't THAT much better than the PS3 (yet), there aren't that many great games for it yet (the Last of Us: Remastered, Dragon Age, Shadow of Mordor, Diablo 3 and Bloodborne slightly comes to mind) and the add on's are pretty pricey right now. Is it worth the upgrade over a PS3/360? Not if you're budget conscious. If you're a tech freak with a devoted lifestyle like myself, then absolutely!
