It took my daughter awhile to figure this speaker out -- you have to hold down the power button to turn it on. The buttons are on the side, so it is hard to see whether the speaker is on (there is a light, though), and if you leave it on, it of course loses its charge. The sound is pretty good. All in all, it's a good speaker.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas; she loves making gummy candy with it. You need flavored jello as well as unflavored gelatin to make the candy, and these items are not included in the package. The toy basically heats up the ingredients and provides molds for creating the candy. It comes with a recipe, but my daughter uses a different one. For me, this is a good option for gummy candy for a child with braces -- the candy that it makes is chewier than jello jigglers, but not as hard on the braces as real gummy candy is.
