I love this refrigerator. Outwardly it was the same specs LxWxH as our old side by side, but the room in this is sooo much bigger! We removed our full old refrigerator stocking the same food, condiments, and beverages in the new one and it felt empty! This is perfect for the upcoming holidays when there are leftovers galore that we usually can't fit in our fridge. Also, we purchased during Black Friday prices so it was a steal! I find the fridge very quiet despite what other reviews have said; it's just a low soothing hum.
Also, I've read other reviews reporting dripping in between water dispensing or ice dispensing. I'm not finding that at all, but we followed instructions from Samsung on YouTube. Once you've installed your new Fridge, there will likely be air bubbles caught in the tube that you have to release by dispensing about 3 gallons of water. It will also clean out your new tubes. Initially, we noticed the dripping too, but once we "primed" the water dispenser, there is no excess dripping or leaking. You will have to repeat a similar procedure when you change your water filter. Just look up "French door Samsung refrigerator" on YouTube and you will find all kinds of useful and troubleshooting short videos directly from the Samsung manufacturer. Fortunately, our contracted Best Buy delivery guys also gave us the same advice. I'd venture to say not all contracted deliverers would know and be able to share this info.
Anyway, hope that helps! Love this fridge. Only complaint is there are some narrow shelves around the ice dispenser that we're having trouble finding products to fit. Even butter bars don't fit! In the end, we use some prescription gel tubes that have to be refrigerated there. Going from little room to so much room, I can't really whine.
I highly recommend!! Go get it!

The refrigerator is all that we expected it to be. It is quite excellent in the use of space and the door-in-door I have found to be quite handy. As advertised the metal plate in the door keeps the temperature cold consistently throughout except for the trays around the ice maker. I kept a couple of bottles there and they wound up freezing a bit, so I had to move them.
One drawback is that to use the wide tray at the bottom of the main compartment, you have to pen both drawers to open it. The fact that you can set what types of foods to store there makes it very useful but also we need to access it often.
One MAJOR issue accompanying the drawback is that the poor delivery people did not level the doors well and now one door continuously wants to swing close. It has gotten progressively worse after they supposedly "fixed" the leveling; so now the doors will have to be leveled up again - there is about a 1/4 inch drop on one door which causes it to swing close all the time. We are quite disappointed with the delivery service.

Can we open both doors in this space allowed?
I have a 38" Wide clearance for this refrigerator....there is a cabinet on the left side and a wall on the right side.....will we be able to open the right side door with the right side of the fridge up against the wall?
Yes we also have a 38" clearance width and 36" depth. It fits perfectly with room.
