I received this product from linksys for free to try out and give a unbiased opinion. Now that is cleared up I must say this was very easy to set up. It took less than five minutes and it was up and running. The instructions are very easy to follow. The range extender worked even better than I expected. I don't have a linksys router ( netgear nighthawk ) and thought that it might not be compatible but I was very wrong. The extender works great. This product is feature rich with seamless roaming ( my favorite) , mu-mimo w/ quad stream, spot finder which helps you pick the best place to plug in the extender. My sons room always had trouble getting a good signal most times he had 2 bars on his laptop and his phone usually disconnected from wi-fi frequently. Not any more !! With this product you can go anywhere up to about 1000 feet away from your router and still have a connection. Like I said I love the seamless roaming. It uses the same ssid and password from your router and switches automatically to the best signal without you even knowing. You do have to set this up in the range extender setup which is very easy. The only thing that took me a minute to figure out is that there is no spot finder app. You need to connect to the extender menu from a phone or tablet and pick it from the left side. Then just walk around your house with the phone and you will be able to see where the best spot to plug it in is. I would have definitely bought this product if I didn't get this review unit. Buy it now you won't be sorry.

i was looking for a inexpensive 4k tv, i first tried a Sony that was on sale for 1000$ but i got it set up and found a lot of light bleed from the corners also it didn't have hdr so i returned it for this lg model 6100. this is a great tv. no light bleed, it's got hdr pro wich is the new standard , works great with the new xbox one s. the only con is the sound isn't top notch but that is fixed easily with a sound bar.

will this wi-fi boost my signal to my ps4 i have AT&T U-verse cisco . keep losing or week signal late at night when no one is using any wi-fi and in the afternoon when no one but me r home ???

i keep losing wi-fi in my room on my ps4 will this device give me better signal. we have at&t u-verse cisco. ps4 is new and in the down stairs bedroom will this give me better signal ?

Does the range extender generate a different SSID that must be joined or does it "mesh" host routers SSID?
Both. At first it comes up as ( xxx-ext) where the x's are your ssid name. After you set it up you can go into the extender's menu and ( mesh ) the ssid's together. This is what enables the seamless roaming.

Will this extender boost the wifi signal from my LOREX 4 camera wireless security system so I can move them further from the base station? I need to boost the camera wifi signals as well as my home internet wifi. Each camera has a separate channel.
It should , anything that connects to wifi will connect to this

I have read several reviews, and many of them indicated that they had received the product free for writing a review. Would I be able to do that?

Are there some wireless headphone that'll work with this TV? We will be living in an apartment so having headphones to use will be helpful!
since there is no Bluetooth i doubt you will find any wireless headphones. i route my cable thru my xbox one and the just plug standard headphones into the controller and it works great , i can watch tv or play games and not wake up my wife.

If a sound bar is connected with the digital audio output, will the tv remote control the volume?
i know a lg soundbar will work. not sure of other brands
