Small but very effective dehumidifier

We purchased this model after a long research to replace our old one that died after many years. I liked the clean and simple design, and I trusted the reviews!

This smaller dehumidifier is doing a great job after 7 months of non-stop operation. We purchased a hose so the water drains into the pit for sump pump directly. We haven't had any mechanical issues even though we are running it all day long since June 2015. Only occasionally I turn it off just so that I can clean the lint screen.

This was a great purchase and I definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable and effective dehumidifier.

Cools the temperature of a room?

I'm looking for a device which is not an AC neither a fan that can cool the air temperature of my room. I already have a Dyson fan and my room is still super hot and would not like to buy an AC or a portable one. Would a dehumidifier work?

If your room is hot due to humidity, dehumidifier will work as it collects the water into the bucket. You just need to keep on dumping the water though - or if you can hook up a hose and direct the water to drain into some other place directly, you don't have to worry about it.

If you suffer from dry heat in your room, then, this probably won't work, and you will need an AC.

Yes, you can move it around easily.
