I followed the instructions exactly and the battery was dead within a day. Completely dead and will not charge.

This is advertised saying it fits dv4 laptops. It does not. Not even close. This is was the second battery I purchased from Best Buy for my HP. The first was a dead battery, it lasted one day (if that). This one is advertised wrong. I am very unhappy.
