Redefining Clean

After getting over the initial shock of the price I was excited to use the new Dyson v8. I researched all different models not only Dyson but other companies. I was not disappointed when I got this in full action at home. First of all, this comes with several attachments, the soft head of hard floors , another for carpets , and 3 others for corners and other things. I was surprised at the weight as it is very light weight but after using it for 15 min your hand will feel cramped. You also have to use the trigger to keep it but I realized I didn't have to hold it all the way back. I have cleaned everything in my house and amazed at the amount that was picked up. I can't say enough good things about it. The max option is so strong that it literally takes two hands to pull it on the carpet. The only con in my book was the price.

how long does the battery last before having to dock it and recharge? how much dirt will the canister hold?

It depends on your usage, but in my experience I was able to clean 4 rooms, Windows and door tracks in the 4 rooms. I would say 30 min on usage. I also did use max a few times. Honestly I got tired before it did! I just put it back on the charger and a few more things around the house and come back and finish a few minor things
