This APC Back-UPS BE750G UPS protects your computer system and keeps it running for up to 70 minutes in the event of a power failure.

CyberPower CP850PFCLCD is vastly superior

I returned two APC 750VA BACK-UPS because they did not "hold" my Dell XPS Desktop when the power was cut-off. APC said my Dell XPS has the new EPA high efficiency power supply, which requires APC's BACK-UPS costing 3X the price. I researched and bought the CyberPower CP850PFCLCD for $112. I've had this unit a month. The CyberPower unit is vastly superior, in every aspect, to this out-dated APC unit.
What's great about it: Forget APC 750VA BACK-UPS and buy CyberPower
What's not so great: Doesn't work with new desktop computers
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Peace of mind from the world's most trusted UPS.The Back-UPS battery backup offers guaranteed power and surge protection for wireless networks, computers, gaming consoles and other electronics in your home or business. Models supply battery backup during outages and unsafe voltage fluctuations, as well as provide protection from damaging surges and spikes. They're available in 'tower' or 'floor' styles, and together with a variety of standard features, they are the perfect choice to protect your data and keep you connected.

Don't buy

The APC website recomended a less expensive model - I upgraded to this "better" model. But, It did not support my computer when I pulled the plug from the wall. My computer shut down and restarted in "Secure Mode" after an improper shut-down.
An APC technician tested the unit by phone and said it was "working properly", then sent me a long email explaining why this model would not work with my new Dell XPS Core i7 "high-powered" computer. APC said I needed a "Smart UPS" costing $300+. So, I unplugged this APC to return to Best Buy and plugged in my old $50 UPS, a Conext 500 bought in 2001. Guess what?? It worked perfectly with my new "high-powered" computer.
LESSON? Don't buy this APC UPS - it doesn't work normally, and it's expensive. Save money & go for a less expensive brand and model !!
What's great about it: Nice Display
What's not so great: DID NOT WORK with my new Dell XPS Core i7 Desktop computer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
