Bought this for my Wife

Her old Conair is noisy and takes forever to dry her hair. Why? Because the vents are all plugged up and the only way to clean out is to take it all apart.
This new unit is awesome. Nice and quiet too. Needless to say it's "Pricey", but hey, that's the way it goes, right? Get what you pay for.

Should call this Targus Air

Okay, let's get this over with; the majority of reviews bash this case citing no on/off magnet and alleged flimsy cord for closing. Really, people are whining about having to push a button to turn it off and on? Wow! So, I wonder if these same folks complain about having to push the on/off button on their cell phones too? The closing cord. Flimsy? I haven't read one review that says it broke. It's just a very small bungee cord and should last as long if not longer than the elastic bands that come on other models that tend to stretch out just like elastic bands on underwear, including their own previous model. One review noted that the swivel unit made a mark on the back of their iPad. I have not experienced this. As a precaution I just placed a small/thin plastic sheet (I used plastic wrapper material) on the back of the iPad just in case. Granted, it's not going to be twirling around like a top.
My primary requirements; must thin and light (like my iPad Air), nice looking, rotating, a strap of some sort to keep in closed when desired, not flop over when in portrait or landscape mode. Secondary requirements: on/off magnet.
This case met all of my primary requirements. I purchased the Devicewear Detour (Amazon) and this case soon after. Compared and contrast the two cases. Both are nice quality, The Devisewear is a very nice solid case, I found it heavier/bulkier than the Targus and tended to flop back when propped up in my lap. The Targus excelled in this area. This is due to the back flap being longer on the Targus, therefore giving it better leverage. Time will tell whether I made the best choice, but for now, I really like the Targus. It's thin, light, nice looking and works well on my lap. One last note. When I switched from the Devicewear to the Targus, my Wife thought I exchanged my iPad Air for a iPad Mini. It looks that much thinner than the Devicewear (and other similar styles). This is the thinest rotating case out there for the iPad Air at the moment that I could find. Oh, one last thing, although the Targus is more expensive, it just didn't seem to be a big factor for me given the price of the iPad Air. I ended up buying the Targus from Best Buy for two reasons; I prefer buying from a brick and mortar store and it was on sale!
What's great about it: Met all of my requirements
What's not so great: If I'm being picky and lazy, I'd say no on/off magnet
I would recommend this to a friend!

Comfortably view media displayed on your Apple iPad Air with the help of this Rocketfish™ RF-PD5SF2R folio case, which rotates up to 360° for multiple viewing-angle options. The PU (polyurethane) material provides tough on-the-go protection.

Wake-and-sleep capability?

Does this case put the iPad Air to 'sleep' when shut, and automatically turns on when the case is opened?
No. You have to actually turn it on and off manually, just like your cell phone.
