Prior to buying this, I had this album on MP3. It sounded spectacular. I was blown away by the production, theory, instrument choice and how cohesive it was. These guys show off there art rock, alternative rock, whatever you want to call them sound incredibly well. This is the best album they ever put out and one of my favorites ever. If you're a fan of Peter Gabrial, Doves or even Coldplay to an extent, this is a MUST HAVE ALBUM. The record had great quality and didn't have any issues, apart from my cheap record player. At first I thought there was something wrong when it sounded like someone was being punched in slow motion but after switching to 45 rpm, I was happy.
When I heard about the new Foo Fighters LP, of course I was happy. I gave the album a preview, and ordered it to find an absolutely beautiful case. It also came to my door without a scratch. I slipped in the CD and heard some very well produced sounds. Balance was great and it had great quality. Not only that but the Foo Fighters are really exploring new and old sounds. they have songs with multiple parts and are really taking a more avant guard approach compared to their usual material. They also went back to sounds on their self titled debut with a grungy sound including different dynamics in texture and aggression. Certainly less poppy then albums like "In Your Honour" or "There's Nothing left to lose". It was quite a trip and I'd highly recommend it.
Each of these Klipsch Reference R-14M bookshelf speakers features a 4" copper-spun IMG woofer and 1" aluminum diaphragm-compression LTS (linear travel suspension) tweeter, so you can easily achieve a rich, dynamic soundscape.
Can I attach these to my old tuner and CD player? The speakers i have are very old Bose and no longer working correctly.
Yes. As long as you're pairing those with a separate amplifier or receiver. I paired these with a receiver from 1979 and a PlayStation 3. They'll make a great replacement for your old Bose.
