--Design-- The design of this All-in-One PC is easy on the eyes. With a minimalistic view, all around really shows off how you can have a PC with very little cables; which is great because you don't have all of these cables running everywhere getting in the way. I have a cat so having less cables is great!
The glossy black and white is always a plus to make it easy to flow with any theme around your house, whether be living room or bedroom, etc it will look very slick. People can love touch screen, it is really neat feature to have on a desktop PC. For the most part a lot of us are already use to this feature on tablets, phones and some laptops but on a desktop screen is not very common but quite neat.
The keyboard was nice, I am typing this review on this PC and the buttons are not huge, it's not clicky clacky which makes it decently quiet while typing. I didn't have any issue with key input lag nor any input lag with the mouse, they both worked normal for me. It is a flat key keyboard but I’m okay with it, it can take a few to get use to but it didn’t take long.
The stand is built in so you do not have to have any tools to set it up.
--Video-- It didn't have any dead pixels on arrival, no light bleed and had great colors and clarity as I expected it to have. The colors were nice and crisp and seemed to be full of life when watching videos, day or not it’s clear.
I did tests with music videos, movie DVD disk, Movie/TV show rips from Blu-ray disks.
--Sound-- The sound is pretty awesome if you were to ask me, I'm sure some will diss it but I mean really? It is actually pretty good and high, sure it could be better but better costs more and good speaker systems are not that cheap. I don't know exactly how many speakers nor the size of them but they are very easy on the ears. Not that high crackling you hear with laptops or generic speakers you can buy. They did a great job with them for the space they had to work with. I did tests with country, rap, hip/hop, pop and alternative rock.
--Webcam/Mic-- The webcam is okay, about the same you would see in a midrange laptop, mic is about the same feeling. Nothing truly amazing but good for general use like Skype/Google Video.
--Speed & Response-- The touch screen is perfect and I love it!
All of the apps that I installed went without issue. When clicking on them they popped up quickly and loaded normally.
This is not a gaming PC so I did not try to game on it but I'm sure having an AMD APU it could do some games at low/medium settings, my HP Touchscreen Laptop was slower than this PC and it played Rocket League quite well, so games that are not heavy on graphics should do fine.
Pros: Touch Screen 1080P All-In-One Speakers Wireless Only 1 Cable needed! Space Saver 1TB
Cons: Locked Bios!
--Other thoughts-- What I really love about this pc, besides basically no cables is that since It's an AIO Desktop you can put it almost anywhere on any surface in the house without taking up room and can easily move it for a change of scene or to clean the surface it is on. With a desktop, you have to unplug all of these wires and move it, which it can weigh a good amount more. My family (general users) were all impressed with this PC. They kept trying to take it away from me! lol
A lot of the bad reviews seem to be really based on Windows 10 issues more than the pc itself. OEM Bloatware has always been around and yes it can slow the PC down a good amount, I dislike it greatly myself. The 5400RPM hard drive is another reason you might feel it's slower, however putting a SSD in this machine would cost more. The average user really just wants to see plug-in-play, which is fine, being a builder and gamer I always do fresh installs because I know how and it runs perfectly after with that. Lots of people do not know how to do that but if you uninstall a lot of stuff that is pre-installed it will run much better for you.
I do wish the PC was better for you with issues, well I wish Windows 10 was better for you and worked as it supposed to. I have been lucky with no issues hardware or software wise so far, I have been playing with it for a few weeks now, still going strong.
I absolutely hate having a locked and lacking of features too. It seems almost normal today to have it. Being a builder and gamer I like seeing features and options in my bios and a nice updated UEFI one too.

XFX is Awesome!

I wanted a RX 480 since it was announced and glad that I finally got the chance to test it out after those pesky prices came down! My version is the RS (Best Buy) with White LED’s but recently XFX sent me some RED LED’s (XFX is now selling their hard swap fans in Red, White and Blue) to check out and they are just as cool looking. At stock speeds it will run at 1288MHz without an issue.
On top of the awesome hard swap fans that XFX is doing, it also has Zero Noise which allows the fans to not spin under light loads. It will auto start on its own based on temps, you can of course customize this with AMD Wattman or other 3rd party app. I have always liked this feature as it keeps my PC to a bare minimum of sounds where only my barely noticeable water pump is all that I can hear since I have Noctua Blacks running at low RPM.
I have always liked the look of XFX GPU’s and with this newest tech that hasn’t changed. The black has always seemed more clean to me. The XFX LED is a nice bright white as well very clear too. Another major plus with this GPU is an awesome aluminum backplate! Since the backplate is often seen more than anything else I have felt that every GPU should have one, I know they all don’t but they should. It makes it that much nicer in a case.
This GPU is VR ready! I don’t know if I every plan on getting a VR headset but it’s nice to know that if I do, it’s set up for it to go.
For under $300 this is a great card for 1080p gaming! It will hold 60FPS or more for most games on Ultra and barely dip down. The quality in graphics seem crisp and clear, which I really like. It gets even better for me since it’s paired with an Asus MG279Q Freesync monitor! I do game at 1440p most of the time on it and it does hold its own on that resolution as well. It’s not as good at that compared to 1080p but it’s still quite smooth. I barely notice a difference in most games.
Having DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0b is a plus for a lot of people. I for one use DVI and DisplayPort.
FinFet 14nm technology is a win in my book! Vulkan, Mantle ready and DX12 support with Windows 10. XFX offers a 3-year warranty on the GPU and 5-year for the fans.

Bring your work with you wherever you go with this HP touch screen laptop. The 1 TB hard drive means there's plenty of room to store your pictures and music, and the 6 GB RAM makes multitasking simple. At less than 5 pounds, this HP touch screen laptop is easy to carry from a morning meeting to an evening class.

Great HP Budget Laptop
on August 8, 2016

*AMD provided me with this laptop for my honest and unbiased review
Battery Life Battery charge time from dead to 100% 1hr:42m:26s Battery lasted while watching Videos on Hard Drive 2hr:41m:33s Battery lasted while on internet 2hr:39m:09s
HDD Speed 92MB/s Read – 92MB/s Write
Screen The screen is nice and clear, even after some time with using only the touch screen. The fingerprints were not so seen that I couldn’t watch a video at the end of the day. I have always wanted a touch screen laptop but felt that I would grow bored with it after a few hours however I have not at this time. It’s a pretty sweet feature especially since it’s on Window 10, I used it more than the mouse. The screen resolution is 720p, I would have liked to have seen 1080p but this is just me being picky, for the price and size of the screen it is just fine.
Portability It was nice to have in the car to watch some videos on a small road trip to the Zoo and to do some photo editing on the way home so they were ready to upload to share with family and friends. I do know that I need to get a laptop bag of sorts for travel as I was a little too cautious with it; not that it’s fragile but it is a laptop so anything can happen and I can be clumsy at times.
Camera I didn’t see anything that stood out as awesome or that I disliked, it wasn’t the highest of quality but it was good for video chats.
Wi-Fi Works as good as any other laptop Wi-Fi out there, I had no issues with connectivity or speed.
Optical Drive I had to beg someone to lend me a blank DVD and CD to check out the speeds, seems to be the standard speeds for burning media needed. Although I have personally use USB Drives for better convenience.
Audio The speakers could get quite loud, which was awesome,
Design I like the all black look with grooves on the inner and outer casing. It does leave fingerprints but almost everything does these day.
Gaming This was not meant to play games however it can at low to medium settings on some games but you should not buy if you want a gaming laptop, look for the FX series or laptops that state gaming.
Pros & Cons The cons are just me being picky, we all have different view on what counts as a pro or con. 8GB of ram would have been more normal for today but 6GB is just fine, especially with it being at DDR4-2133Mhz. I would put it not having 8GB as a con but 6GB is plenty for this laptop since it’s not a gaming laptop. I don’t like the locked bios but I’m a gamer and builder and like messing with things in there when needed but for the average user though this would not be a con.
Pros: • Touch Screen • Price $399 • 1TB Space • Design • Not a lot of stickers • Portability • SD Card Reader • HDMI Output Cons: • Locked Bios!
Price The price is $399 right now but I have just seen it on sale for $299-$349.99! Which is even more epic if you wanted to pick it up.
Rating I have given this 5 stars because it is worth the price for what it can do!
