The new Apple TV delivers an all-new experience with Touch andSiri, powerful new hardware, and great content, games, and more on the App Store. The Touch surface on the new Siri Remote offers innovative ways to interact with your TV, creating a connected experience with a screen that's across the room. With Siri, finding something to watch is as easy as just asking. And with apps, Apple TV allows you to customize your TV for personal and shared experiences in the living room.

I have to say that I am unimpressed so far with APPLETV! Its streaming abilities have a lot to be desire compared to other competing streaming devices. Understand that I am not a spokesperson for any products. Just an average consumer like many of you. I have both ROKU and APPLETV.
Netflix and HuLu are my favorite streaming channels. I must say that my APPLETV compared to my ROKU, when it comes to streaming Netflix and some other channels, seem to have issues far to often with handling 1080p streaming. Before any of you ask, this has nothing to do with my internet service, WIFI or APPLETV settings. I have fast internet. Whenever I get a banner on my APPLETV stating "An Error Occurred", this happening more often than it should, I switch to my ROKU to stream the same content and it plays fine without any interruptions.. I do not understand why it is such an issue with the APPLETV when content will play on another streaming device just fine.
Now, what I do like about the APPLETV product over the ROKU is its ability to turn itself and the television off when not in use instead of sitting on the screen saver or a still shot for hours on end. You don't have to set a timer for this. This comes in handy for you night time viewers. I also like the APPLETV ability to automatically switch video input list whenever you start using the product. ROKU does not have this feature as of yet. You still have to manually tune into the input ROKU is plugged into.
All and all and as far as I am concerned, streaming with very little to no interruption is the most important feature for a streaming device and so far, APPLETV needs much improvement in this area. I hope future updates will improve in this area or I will cease to purchasing future APPLETV products..

One of the best all time vampire movie plot ever written. Especially compared to the present day type vampire movies.
What's great about it: The script

Not As Expected

I guess it is difficult trying to find a good pair of headphones these days. Name brand really isn't the answer anymore like it used to be in the 80s and 90s. It used to be a time where a cheap pair of headphones sound better than a great pair of high end expensive speakers. I guess all the quality processors are being used in the war on terror-or something. I searched hi and low, willing to easily pay $350 or maybe a little more for a set of headphones that would put me in the middle of a band studio session or in the best seat of a live performance. What I got from all of the major brands? Lack of presence, clarity, sonic depth, separation, lifelike, and good tonal quality, something easily found almost a decade ago. I don't know, maybe the lack of quality in music today having their affect on the quality of products use to play them. I returned the Denon. Happy hunting all of you audiophiles.

The Greatest Biblical Movie Ever Made

How could the movie studios make Gone With The Wind, The Wizard of Oz, and even The Fly, of all things in Blu-ray but not The Ten Commandment? Maybe it is the Christian Hate thing at work.
What's great about it: It's The Ten Commandments
What's not so great: There is no Blu-ray copy

I have a widescreen television. Why must I continue to have black bars at the top and the bottom of the screen. Please don't suggest zoom because you know it changes the ratio. Wish movie studios would adopt the same widescreen format for all movies and eliminate the black bars for widescreen telvision.

The studios are starting the bait and switch under the Blu-ray banner.. Bought this movie to update my video collection to Blu-ray. Realized after the fact that the video is not 1080p HD. Specs says AVC @ 24 MBPS. Video doesn't look any different than my standard DVD copy version . Studios are starting to downgrade Blu-ray quality without informing the consumer. Make sure if you are buying Blu-ray movies from 20th Century Fox to read the specs to make sure you're getting full 1080p since they seem to be the only studio downgrading at this point or just check them all to be sure.

I wonder

Could it be possible that even in the Blu-ray format we are still not getting the best quality audio/video possible? Are we still being munipulated by the movie studios giving us variable quality "Blu-ray" audio/video in cheaper movie packages as oppose to what we would get paying a higher price for the same movie title which the quality of the video and sound seem to be better in my opinion. Studios did it with CD and DVD packages over the years without many people realizing this practice. I work in television so I know when there is a change in video/audio quality. I wish the studios would give us a label providing a scale of the video/audio quality of each CD or DVD package so we won't have to repurchase the same product for better quality. Think the studios would be unselfish enough?
