Masters of Horror is a consistently well written and directed series that premiered on cable TV. The premise of the series was to give A-list horror directors free range to create what they desired. Surprisingly, the series only lasted 2 seasons. The powers that be moved the series to regular network TV and renamed it Fear Itself (which was pretty good too), but it didn't even finish out it's first season. The price is a steal, so horror fans who don't have this collection, this is a must. Waiting for the complete second season to be released now.
The Witch's score is certainly frightening and sets the right mood for the viewer to be unsettled. Without this stunning score the film would not be nearly as effective.
Suspiria's soundtrack by Goblin is quite possibly the most terrifying music put to film: it is still as innovative and original as when first released.
This set contains the original three entries in the award-wining British political thriller House of Cards - House of Cards, To Play the King, and The Final Cut.
The original British miniseries of House of Cards is the version that can't be beat. Ian Richardson (as F U) is sensational as the ever conniving, scheming, and passed-over politican seeking revenge. This version's superior storytelling has a beginning, middle, and an end. The American remake's padded and watered down version stretches it out into an unending series.
Tusk is an extremely dark and twisted tale of a demented serial killer. The story is enhanced with caustic humor and very strong performances. Kudos to Michael Parks and Justin Long. Justin Long's mustache foreshadows things to come. Not for the average viewer.
