Great fitness tracker

I have had my vivofit for a week now and really like it. I read many reviews that had negative things to say about the band not being secure. I have not found this to be the case. I have not taken the device off and it has not fallen off either. I work in a hospital and am constantly putting surgical gloves on and pulling them off...no problem. Idid my yard work with it on yesterday...no problem. I wish it had an alarm to let me know when I reached my goal. I really like that I do not have to charge it either ! I am satisfied at this time and would recommend it to a friend.
What's not so great: Wish it had an alarm

vivofit - does it use gps to determine distance
No it does not. You put in your height, weight, and steps per foot and the device calculates the distance for you. It has been pretty accurate.
