The perfect game for any Disney or Marvel fan. The Playsets are packed with action and a lot of fun to play. You also have the tools to create your own worlds using Disney and Marvel elements.
The graphics are superb and the controls are responsive. Gameplay is exceptional. Disney Infinity has become one of my all-time favorite series.
If you have the figures and power discs from the first Disney Infinity, they will work in this game.
This game is family friendly and deep enough for gamers of all ages and skill levels. An excellent gaming experience.
I give this a strong recommendation. If you are a Disney or Marvel fan, this is an essential part of your gaming library.

A Christmas classic

This is one of the best Christmas movies of all-time.
Mickey and company star in one of the most faithful and one of the finest screen treatments charles Dickens' classic tale of redemption has ever recieved. At turns, Mickey's Christmas Carol is fun and light-hearted, at others dramatic and heart-rending. The animation is phnomenal, it still looks great by today's standards. The movie also got a superb HD remaster. The colors are bright and sharply defined and the backgrounds look just like a village from Dickens' time.
Nearly every Disney character you can think of has an appearance in Mickey's Christmas Carol, from Scrooge Mac Duck as Ebenezer Scrooge and Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchitt, to Mr. TOad as Fezziwig.
A selection of classic Disney shorts is included. Pluto's Christmas tree remains one of the best Christmas short films ever made. You also get the all-new Yodelburg short.
This Blu-Ray does not have 'The Small One', hopefully that fantasic short film will be included in a future Christmas Blu-Ray.
A timeless classic is reborn on Blu-Ray. A great Christmas present for young and old.

Great game all around

I love this game.
Disney Infinity boasts colorful and fluid graphics, lots of fun and exciting action and responsive controls and the characters you know and love from several Disney films. The Play Set worlds all have a distinctive look and each one has it's own unique style of play. The Pirates Play set is a very different experience from the Cars or Monsters University sets. The various missions are fun to play and it's easy enough for younger players and there's plenty of depth to keep adult and more skilled gamers interested.
After you've completed the story in any given Play Set adventure, the game still doesn't end. You can create your own game using elements from the various play sets. Have you ever wonder what it would be like to have Mr. Incredible fighting pirates in the Wild West? Here's your chance to find out! Characters, design elements and gadgets from different movies can be combined in ways limited only by your imagination.
It would be great if each character had different Play Set missions and their own stories, that would make this game even better.
If you've heard of problems with the PS3 version, the new patch has fixed them.
If you are a Disney fan, then this is an essential part of your game library.
Can't wait to see what comes in the future.

The complete saga

This is the set to get if you are interested in Resistance. This series puts you in to the war between Humanity and the Chimera, the scariest enemies this side of Resident Evil. At stake, Mankind's continued existence as a species.
This FPS boasts great graphics, challenging gameplay and a host of cool weapons. The game includes weapons that can target an enemy around the corner or even hit targets behind walls (of course the Chimera have these weapons too). The enemies range from small crawly creatures to skyscraper sized monstrosities to enormous engines of war, and you have to fight all of them.
One thing Resistance has that most FPS do not is a well-developed story. Resistance takes place in an alternate history of the 1950's. An alien virus has taken hold in Russia and mutated people into Chimera, the Chimera have spread and efforts are being made to put an end to the tide of Chimera threatening to engulf the planet. The story of all three games have terrifying and emotional moments. The only other FPS I can think of that has as well-developed a stry is HALO. HALO is a grand sci-fi epic, but Resistance tells a much more personal story and you really come to feel for some of the characters.
Resistance 3 gives you the option of using Playstation Move or the Dual Shock 3. The choice is yours.
Resistance Fall of Man was the first great PS 3 game and Resitance 2 and 3 are great sequels.
3 great games in one reasonably priced set. Essential for any PS 3 collection.

The king of puzzle games

This is a great collection to have.
This includes Bejweled 3, an excellent match 3 puzzle game. Bejweled features vibrant graphics, great music and highly addictive gameplay. You quickly lose track of time in this game. The classic game is great and there a variations that will challenge your mind and your refelxes.
Feeding Frenzy 2 is lots of fun to play. You play as a fish gobbling up smaller fish but you have to watch out for the bigger fish who are out to eat you. You play as different types of fish throughout the game (even as a shark).
In Zuma, you control a frog launching multi-colored balls trying to match a line of three or more. You have to think fast and make your matches before the conga line of balls reaches the end. Fast paced and addictive.
For fun and challenging puzzlers, this set can't be beat.

A Kolossally kool game

Mortal Kombat has rejoined the ranks of great fighting games. I was koncerned about the future of this series, but those koncerns evaporated when I played this game.
The action is fast-paced, brutal and exciting, the graphics are outstanding and look great in HD and the kontrols are easy enough to pick up, you'll be executing krazy kombos and brutal fatalities before you know it.
Rather than trying to make this into a 3D fighter, Netherrealm has made it into a top notch 2D fighter in 3D environments.
The gameplay harkens bact to the klassic Mortal Kombat II and Mortal Kombat 3, which were the best games in the series up until this one. There are lots of game modes, from one-on-one and tag team fighting to various mini-games. There is even a story mode which is a dramatic retelling of the events of the original Mortal Kombat trilogy. In the story, Raiden recieves a message from his future self that evil warlord Shao Khan must not succede or the Earthrealm is doomed. there are twists and turns that give this mode the feel of an interactive movie.
The great kharacters from the original klassics are back. The kharacter designs are striking and distinctive. From terrifying kombatant like Baraka and Quan Chi, to heroes like Liu Kang and Johnny Cage and sexy female fighters like Jade and Sonya Blade. If you have a favorite kharacter from MK, chances are he or she (or it) is in this game.
This is a great game, but not for family entertainment. Mortal Kombat is graphically violent. there is a lot of blood and gore and some particularly graphic finishing moves. For players 17 and older, it's a great game but it is not recommended for children. Mortal Kombat warrants its M rating.

Oh Boy! This game's swell!

This game is lots of fun to play.
In Epic Mickey 2, Wasteland, a home for forgotten toons, is once again threratened. The inhabitants of Wasteland call on none other than Mickey Mouse to save Wasteland from destruction. In his quest, Mickey teams up with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, on of Walt's first creations.
As the game progresses, Mickey and Oswald travel a world made up of locations that look and feel like delightfully twisted versions of Disneyland and Disney World attractions such as 'Ventureland' (instead of 'Adventureland'# and Ostown #instead of 'Toon Town'#.
This is one of the best action platform games I've played. The decisions you make actually have an impact on how the story proceeds and even on the ending itself #you can decide whether or not you want your conscience to be your guide#. The story is very well developed and takes lots of twists and turns. There are lots of hidden quests to unlock which gives the game great replay value. The graphics are great and the music is superb, nice showcase for what the PS 3 can do. The graphics in the PS 3 version are noticiably better than the XBOX 360 and the PS 3game has shorter load times. A high quality game all around.
In single player mode, the CPU controls Oswald and you control Mickey. Mickey has a magic brush that can paint or thin toons and Oswald has a remote control that can operate machines and shoot electricity.This game is enjoyable as a single or two player experience. The controls work very well and are easy to pick up. You can choose to use the Dualshock 3 or the PS Move motion controls. Some levels are quite challenging, yet not frustrating. I hope Square Enix includes Wasteland as a world in Kingdom Hearts 3.
An HD version of the first Epic Mickey is not included. That would have made this a perfect set, I got into the story and I'd like to know more about how it started. I don;t have a Wii, so I never played the first game.

Awesome collection

Ratchet and Clank is one of the best series in gaming and this collection gives you the first three games in the series with graphics updated to HD.
The HD graphics look good. Nothing that taxes PS 3 capabilities (remember these were originally PS 2 games) but they still look good. The controls work great. Easy to pick up and quick to master. In a very short time, the controls become intuitive.
All three games feature lots of action, cool weapons and lots of laughs. Here you can see the beginnings of the series' trademark humor.
If you like the Ratchet and Clank Future series or are just curious about Ratchet and Clank, then this collection is essential. The games on this disc are some of the best action platform games around and are still lots of fun to play. High quality action and lots of non-violent fun, perfect for the whole family.
Three great action games in one reasonably priced collection, a great deal for any PS 3 owner.
Get this collection for yourself and have a blast!

A kolossal komeback!

Mortal Kombat has rejoined the ranks of great fighting games. I was koncerned about the future of this series, but those koncerns evaporated when I played this game.
The action is fast-paced, brutal and exciting, the graphics are outstanding and look great in HD and the kontrols are easy enough to pick up, you'll be executing krazy kombos and brutal fatalities before you know it.
Rather than trying to make this into a 3D fighter, Netherrealm has made it into a top notch 2D fighter in 3D environments.
The gameplay harkens bact to the klassic Mortal Kombat II and Mortal Kombat 3, which were the best games in the series up until this one. There are lots of game modes, from one-on-one and tag team fighting to various mini-games. There is even a story mode which is a dramatic retelling of the events of the original Mortal Kombat trilogy. In the story, Raiden recieves a message from his future self that evil warlord Shao Khan must not succede or the Earthrealm is doomed. there are twists and turns that give this mode the feel of an interactive movie.
The great kharacters from the original klassics are back. The kharacter designs are striking and distinctive. From terrifying kombatant like Baraka and Quan Chi, to heroes like Liu Kang and Johnny Cage and sexy female fighters like Jade and Sonya Blade. If you have a favorite kharacter from MK, chances are he or she (or it) is in this game.
This is a great game, but not for family entertainment. Mortal Kombat is graphically violent. there is a lot of blood and gore and some particularly graphic finishing moves. For players 17 and older, it's a great game but it is not recommended for children. Mortal Kombat warrants its M rating.
For brutal 2D fighting, Mortal Kombat kan't be beat. This game is a kut above the rest.

This collection features Zuma's Revenge, the sequel to Zuma where you try to match lines of multi-colored balls to clear the screen as the balls race to a pit. the gameplay is like the first Zuma, but the graphics are much improved and there are new power-ups. There's even the option to customize certain power-ups.
Feeding Frenzy 2 follows a fish on an adventure through the sea. You grow by eating smaller fish, which in turns allows you to eat the bigger fish. But you have to be careful, because there are always bigger fish to eat you.
Bejeweled 3, the king of match 3 puzzle games, is also included in this collection. Bejeweled 3 boasts addictive action and several different game modes for tremendous replay value.
All three games boast fast-paced and non-violent fun. If you like puzzle games and are looking for games the whole family can enjoy, this is it.

About an hour into Episode II, the disc freezes a bit and seems to skip. Returned to store for a hassle free exchange. The same problem with the new disc at the exact same spot!!!! Haven't had a chance to view all the other discs but what a disappiontment. Question is do I exchange again or simply ask for a refund???? Anyone else have similar problem?

You might want to try sending the discs to 20th Century Fox for a replacement.
I've had no problems whatsoever with any of the movies. Of course, I've plyed them on my PS3.

Lots of talk with the First Class movie not working with Sony. It would not work with my Sony BDP S350. Which is NOT 3D. I had to disable the internet connection "Do not allow disc to access internet" or some such. Then I had to delete the data file the Xmen movie had already installed when I tried to watch it the first time. This isn't easy either as it normally doesn't display the stored data in the setup menu. I had to do this by inserting an invalid disc. In this case the digital copy. Then I got the menu to delete the First Class data file. What a pain, I'm watching this now and it BETTER be good, lol. If your not up to this then get the DVD. Hope this helps someone.

As a Star Wars fan I find this a good value for the money. I have a problem with the blu-ray discs, which is in no way a fault of Best Buy. Every single disc seems to enter a pause mode during the movie and then speeds up without audio. I have to stop playing the disc and restart it again. This happens regardless of which blu-ray player I use. Other than that, I would recommend this product.

I've had no problems with any of the Blu-Ray discs. I've been playing them on my PS3.
