The movie is great. The settings, the acting, the storyline, the cameos - all of it plays great like you would expect from a Cameron Crowe movie. But this soundtrack is what makes it spectacular. Enjoy it in the movie and then run out and buy it. Immediately. Old grunge staples from Mother Love Bone and Screaming Trees, plus the original grunger, Jimi Hendrix. But it's got great early Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains and some epic Paul Westerberg and Chris Cornell solo work. If you grew up in the 80's and the early 90's and If you even liked the Seattle sound from the 90's just a little tiny bit, you will love this movie and you will love this soundtrack.

I go through laptops every 2 years or so because of the environments I use them in. I really liked this laptop. I wanted to love it, but I just couldn't. I've had HPs for years and went w/ Toshiba a couple of years ago - not a great decision so I have tried HP again. I've had this for a month and the only two issue are the touchpad becoming possessed at times and the keyboard becoming unresponsive. But those are huge issues. I wish the screen would open up a bit more than it does, but I knew that going in. The keyboard periodically requires some brute force to register keystrokes. Thank God for autocorrect. I will say that the backlit keys are fantastic. The touchpad inadvertently closes and clicks things on it's own. I've had it move the pointer around on it's own as I go to click on the screen about 50% of the time. All of a sudden I have sent an email that I wasn't ready to send because the arrow was hovering over the SEND button. It has happened more than once and makes me look extremely unprofessional to the people that have gotten a half fleshed-out thought or proposal. The touchscreen isn't like that at all and works great. If they still had a shortcut button for disabling the touchpad I would be ok with it and just hope for a driver update to fix it but alas that is not an option as HP has removed that shortcut so that the touchpad is always active.
I'm returning the unit today and will probably upgrade to the slightly newer 15-u010dx. It's a light processor upgrade but also has the ability to fully open the screen to a tent-mode and quasi-tablet mode.
BioShock Infinite is a first-person shooter like you've never seen. Just ask the judges from E3 2011, where the Irrational Games title won more than 75 editorial awards, including Game Critics Award's Best of Show.Set in 1912, players assume the role of former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, sent to the flying city of Columbia on a rescue mission. His target? Elizabeth, imprisoned since childhood. During their daring escape, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond — one that lets Booker augment his own abilities with her world-altering control over the environment. Together, they fight from high-speed Sky-Lines, in the streets and houses of Columbia, on giant zeppelins and in the clouds, all while learning to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities and immersing players in a story that is not only steeped in profound thrills and surprises, but also invests its characters with what IGN called "emotional ties (that) will continue to set the bar in gaming."

If you loved the original Bioshock or even if you liked Bioshock 2... it doesn't matter. This game is astonishingly beautiful on it's own. The characters are amazing and the story is great. You should play Bioshock because it's awesome, but it isn't required to become immersed in this game. Technically speaking, this game is set a few decades before the events of Bioshock. I'm a fan of games with a great story. Uncharted and Dead Space are two of my favorites. They have compelling stories and excellent gameplay. But Bioshock Infinite is on an entirely different level. It really is amazing! Do yourself a favor and don't rush it. Don't try to finish it as fast as possible. Take your time and explore Columbia. Really take the time to enjoy the game and you absolutely will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: Gameplay, story, graphics, story and story
What's not so great: It took 4 years to make, so the next one won't be here soon.
Great movie and great special features. I'm sure the Blu-ray would be even better, but I couldn't get it to play in my PS3. I even took the first 2 copies back to BB, opened, and they swapped it for a new one. And I doubt it was just a bad batch of discs, as I went to 3 separate stores in a 60 mile radius(I live in SoCal and drive all over for work, so I just took it with me) over two days. My PS3 works fine with every other Blu-ray and game I have. Not with this one. Too bad because I would have loved to see and hear it converted for HD.
It's a Star Wars film, with JJ's flair. Worth 4K? I'm an early adopter. Went Vizio M Series, I'm not looking to getting in a trolling war - so before someone says who says, "OLED is the ONLY way to go" - ODDLY I've had an eye doctor tell me my vision is oddly better than nearly the entire human population.
So maybe I'm lucky and see a lot of quality in a lot of great features, but no HDR, was just out of my price range. That's the only downfall I see with the set in the long run. Lots of great connectivity, a 4K @ 60fps port, HDMI 2.0 and 1.4s, 5 total, a reliable AC wireless protocol, a growing selection of 4K content. I mean SERIOUSLY there is plenty of content, it just may not appeal to you. But I've found plenty of very high quality 4K stuff on YouTube. VUDU is particularly high quality, where I expect MOST the competition of 4K blu Ray sales to be made. Especially for the ADHD generation of native YouTube, HULU, VUDU, Netfilxers out there. Everyone talks about Ultraflix, but they only use stereo sound, just 2.0! If you have the TV you probably have the surround sound at 5.1 minimum, but you have audiophiles with Atmos capability too!
I'm excited about 4K in general, and will probably shell out the $400 for a player. It will definitely have to count as a birthday present or something. But you know what?? I have a job and responsibilities, and a life, and I don't complain about lack of content. I don't have THAT much free time. I don't need to have 8000 choices of what to watch, and I've looked into it all. I haven't even had too much chance to play a video game on here yet.
So there is SO MUCH content out there, I JUST HAVE TOO LITTLE TIME. #FirstWorldProblems

Just a bang up job of reviewing the movie. And your eyesight. And your television. And your love for specs. And your job and responsibilities. And your excitement about the 4K standard. And your unfortunate lack of free time.
