Honestly, these guys are underrated. I heard them first on MusicChoice a couple of years ago and completely fell in love. What really got me were the guitar riffs and the vocals. Then I heard the drums and the bass OH MAN I was in for it. The songs are perfect length-wise, lyrical-wise, and overall stupendous. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
What's great about it: The music itself, the lyrics, the meaning, etc. I could go on.
What's not so great: Seriously underrated band = not many songs on either albums, and also the small fanbase.
Alter Bridge never fail to impress. It seems anything these guys touch becomes magic. From Myles doing vocals with Slash and leading The Mayfield Four back in the day to Mark and his solo career. Brian keeps the music real with his bass and Flip keeps everyone together with his killer beats. This album gives the listener an eargasm from start to finish. Especially with the opening track, Cry of Achilles. My personal favourite is Calm the Fire. I also love how Tremonti got to lead in Waters Rising. I could go on about every song and every lyric, but I have class soon, so have to cut this short! AB 4-EVER!
What's great about it: It's what AB is all about. I find that the more I listen to it, the more it makes sense.
