I've never owned an all-in-one computer before and anytime someone suggests that I purchase one, I instantly responded by telling them why having a traditional tower desktop is much better (many reasons but one of them is the ability to make easy repairs to the hardware). I purchased a 2012 Macbook Pro for college three year ago and I have been very satisfied with it. After observing how well the iMacs have been received by the public, I decided that my first "AIO" computer would be an iMac. Originally I wanted to purchase the 21.5'' 4K model but I ultimately landed on the 27'' model for a few reasons. The first being that the 27'' model has a 5K resolution screen to it, making it one of the most impressive devices when it comes to picture quality. Secondly, the 27'' model is the only Apple all-in-one device that allows users to add more RAM. Mine came with 8GB and is expandable up to 32GB. This will come in handy for future projects that I will be using it for. Finally, the last feature that made me choose the 27'' was the fusion drive. While you can custom order one from Apple that's in the 21.5'' size with a fusion drive, you will find that you will only be about $100-$200 shy of the 27'', making the 5K resolution and screen size the only difference between the two different models. Using all of this, I can easily justify my actions for jumping up to the 27'' iMac with the 1TB fusion drive and 5K screen. If anyone is looking for a good stationary computer that will last them a long time as well as deliver a powerful experience, I would highly recommend that they consider this computer. It may leave a bit of a hole in your wallet, but the computer is well worth it.

The case itself was much larger than it originally appeared in the picture, but that is a huge pro for me since I am building a gaming desktop. I'm going to need all the space I can get. I also like the toughness of the outside. In the event that I accidentally drop it or hit it with a sharp object like a screwdriver, it feels as if it would not scratch that easy.
Brian De Palma's visually stunning but otherwise lackluster science fiction epic Mission to Mars comes to DVD in a crisp, anamorphic, widescreen transfer and 5.1 Surround Sound -- all the better to show off the film's admittedly impressive special effects, which stand out even more due to the flat pacing and performances. Not surprisingly, the disc's best extra features also concentrate on Mission to Mars' technical achievements: the production art gallery, explanations of the visual effects, and the documentary Visions of Mars all provide insight into the film's successful moments. A fairly informative commentary and a trailer complete a surprisingly well-rounded presentation of this rather slight film; though sci-fi fans and FX geeks may find a wealth of entertainment here, most other viewers would be better off renting this piece of the red planet instead of owning it.

Brian De Palma has directed some of the most memorable films of all time and now he has added a thrilling Sci-Fi film to that list. When a rescue mission to mars goes awry, the rescue team must try to not only save their fellow astronauts, but themselves as well before time runs out.

Battlefield is by far one of the greatest first person shooter titles ever to hit the shelves. 3 and 4 were excellent games that brought exciting multiplayer but subpar campaign plots. Hardline attempts to revolutionize the franchise with a more engaging story, but tries too hard to keep the player entertained. Over the top sequences followed by lifeless characters make for a very boring and forgettable campaign. The multiplayer on the other hand is easily the best part. Interesting maps make for some fun hours with your friends. While the game is interesting, don't feel the need to rush out and pay full price. Wait like I did for a decent discount.

After the tepid entry of Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops 2 advertised itself to be a revolutionary entry to the franchise. Instead, we got something that's been done to death. That was my opinion when I first got this game in 2012 when it came out, and it's more evident now, 2 and a half years later that Call of Duty's time in the sun is coming to an end. With a series that tries to focus more on weapon upgrades than story and gameplay, it's only a matter of time before people just get bored. The original Black Ops was an excellent entry to the series that had stunning visuals, a unique story, and my personal favorite Zombie maps. It's sequel is such a disappointment that follows. A ridiculous, over the top story that will leave people either bored or angry that they wasted 6 hours of their life, multiplayer that does nothing new at all, and a confusing, unimpressive Zombies mode will leave people stunned that they paid $60 for what could've been DLC.

As a horror film fanatic, I'm used to seeing some of the weirdest things on the screen. When I discovered the first V/H/S film in 2012, the level of weirdness was taken to a new level. The following year, V/H/S/2 bumped it up even higher. Then I found out about V/H/S Viral last year. It seems to me that this one was just thrown together in less than a few months just to release another entry and gain more money. The entire film differs greatly from the previous two that it's hard to classify this as an appropriate sequel. The film has a weak main segment that really adds nothing new to the series, so you can skip "Vicious Circles". For the first story, "Dante the Great" is at least enjoyable to watch for the story. The greatest flaw with this segment is that a fair amount of it is not in a found-footage perspective. Following Dante is "Parallel Monsters". This segment is somewhat forgettable due to the wackiness of the story and "scares". If you want to skip it, you won't be missing anything. Next comes "Bonestorm". This one tries to be the "Safe Haven" of the 3rd entry, but it ultimately fails in being scary. However, it is still a fun segment to watch for the thrill. Finally, there was one last segment that was not included until it was released on Bluray, "Gorgeous Vortex". After watching it, I can easily understand why it was cut. Not only is it completely off the wall, but it doesn't feel like a V/H/S segment at all. Overall, this film is a mess. There's no rhyme or reason to it and V/H/S fans are going to feel disappointed with it. If you're a horror movie fan or have at least seen the first two, check it out but be prepared to have it be a let down. Let's just hope that when and if they make a 4th film they can save the series from spiralling out of control.

Up until the beginning of September of this year, I had been using an original PS3 with 80GB and backwards compatibility. It decided to die after 6 great years of gaming, so I had no choice but to get a new console. I decided to choose this bundle and I happy to report that I made the right choice. The console is much smaller and more quiet. Anyone who is still looking to own a PS3, you should easily choose this particular model because for one simple reason: it works.
If you thought the concept of the Purge was only going to stop after one film, you're wrong. The Purge: Anarchy takes the ideas from the original and expands on them in the correct way. The characters are much more enjoyable to watch, the plot is intense and thrilling, and the overall atmosphere of the film is great. Any fan of the first one must see this sequel along with anyone who enjoys horror films!

For those looking to jump into the tablet generation but keep all of the abilities of a traditional computer, the Surface Pro is the only tablet that can function as both. By getting the full edition of Windows, users can use the tablet for business, home, or recreation. Although this particular edition of the surface comes with Windows 8.0, people can save about $400 with the original pro instead of getting the second generation, since there are very little differences between them, none of which would make people feel like they're missing out by getting the first generation over the second.

By the 90s, slasher films were getting so repetitive that the horror genre was thought to be dead. But in 1996, Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson released what I consider to be one of the best horror films ever made. It brought with it not only a great plot, but a cast of characters that were so interesting that it made the film so realistic. Any fan of horror owes a debt of thanks to Scream because it resurrected the horror genre and produced some of the more recent horror classics, becoming a classic itself.
