Charming, whimsical game that is visually stunning

This is a charming, and whimsical game with a gorgeous and unique paper-crafted visual style. Everything from the visual look, to the enemy and character design and game-play mechanics followed and adhered to the same paper-crafted style with wondrous effect.
It's a delightful game for all ages, and would especially resonate with younger audiences, though it can be difficult enough even for people very experienced with platformers as I was. The story itself was also pretty unique and built gradually into a beautiful ending on the nature of storytelling and sharing in general.

Good game but not as engaging as Awakenings

If like me you, came from Awakenings, then you'll find a lot more of the same, and that's definitely a good thing as the core gameplay is so fun and addicting. The game is harder, noticeably so in the early missions before you grind and level up. While the gameplay and stategy elements are fun as always the story is very forgettable, and it didn't bring enough new elements to overcome that limitation. Still it's a very fun game to play with hours and hours of playtime available, but I feel it was overall not as good as Awakenings.

My personal pick for best game of the year so far.

I loved the first game. I thought it was the best game of the year in 2011. I feel that Dishonored 2 is even better than the first and is so far the best game I played in 2016. First of all, the level design and mechanics are much more dynamic and innovative, some of them are amazing in creativity and allows for numerous ways to get past certain obstacles or goals. The replayability of this game is immediately higher than the first as well, because from the outset you can choose to either play as Emily or Corvo. I think a lot of people would want to play one in a stealthy way and then in another playthrough, play the other character in a more aggressive, high chaos manner.
The only quibble is that the story is not so amazing, its about on par with the first game, with the Witches of Brigmore DLC probably having the best story out of the three.
Overall, this game feels close enough to the first one and everything that it did right, but also added enough differences and nuances that improved on it in numerous ways. My pick for best game of the year.

Great, dynamic FPS shooter with great campaign.

I think this is one of the best games of the year, and the best and most dynamic fps game alongside Doom. The campaign, although short, is remarkable, and does not feel tacked on as well. The multiplayer is a continuation from the first game and I feel has improved on it in many ways. The multiplayer is a good example of a game that has an easy entry for beginners but high ceiling for experienced players. Great overall package.

Wonderful game-of-the-year candidate type of game. Improved game mechanics. Better graphics. Pretty good graphics. Excellent game. The only flaws is that its a lot of what we seen in previous entries though this is probably the most polished and still and amazing game.

Great end to a long-time series. SIngle-player experience is long and fun enough on its own (if you're into this type of RTS genre game) and the multiplayer is much improved with a lot of changes and much faster gameplay.
