Charge your USB- or micro USB-enabled device on the go with this PNY PowerPack T2600 rechargeable external battery, which features 5V, 1-amp output for quick charging and an LED battery indicator, so you know when it's time to recharge.
Unfortunately, I hadn't had this product for very long before losing the cord. Having a way to store the cord with the external battery might be a nice feature... :-/
I don't think there has been a time since seeing this movie when I haven't asked myself what must be going through the minds of those trapped inside "locked-up" bodies. It definitely had an impact on my perception of others and promoted many great discussions with those I watched it with.
John N. Smith directs Michelle Pfeiffer in the drama Dangerous Minds, which comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, and a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. There are no subtitles, but the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include the music video for the smash Coolio hit "Gangsta's Paradise". This is a solid release from Disney/Buena Vista.
As a teacher who has been in some high risk schools, I can relate to many of the challenges Michelle Pfeiffer faced in this movie. A very enjoyable film that can spur some great discussions.
As an ex-wife of a military vet, I can certainly relate to the toll being in the military can have both on the soldiers and their families, much like the one depicted in this film. Unfortunately, this one hits pretty close to home.
If you enjoyed the other NatM movies, you will probably enjoy this one as well. It did seem a little sad just knowing that Robin was probably dealing with a lot of inner struggles during the production of this, his final, movie.
