The Surface Pro 4 is one of the best laptops ive ever owned. Having said that, i do not feel like i was using it to its value. I had the i5 256gb version which currently sells for around 1200. While i did love it, i wasnt using the pen very often and most of what i did with it was web browsing, writing, and watching movies. The Chromebook Plus seemed like a much better option for me because it did everything i need it to, it has a wonderful screen and it costs significantly less! I dont regret seling my Surface to get this for a minute. I got another great laptop and i pocketed a few hundred dollars as well. Win, win.

I initially purchased the standard type cover in the green color, then I exchanged it for the signature one. I'm very happy with my decision, it's substantially more premium looking and feeling. It's a joy to type on.

Is the 4GB memory changeable to a 8GB memory? If so how much would that cost?
There is no way to upgrade the RAM

Does the trackpad turn off when in tablet mode? I saw a youtube video which showed the trackpad still on when in tablet mode, is there a setting to fix that?
It does turn off completely when in tablet mode.

will this run andromida os later this year from google
Nothing is even known about Andromeda OS, so its impossible to say.

Isn't there an intel version of this ChromeBook which is more expensive? I am interested in that version.
Yes, it will be shipping with the Core m3 and it will be $100 more. I believe its coming out in April.

Will I be able to connect to my HP printer wirelessly with this? Also since you can't use Microsoft office, what are your options?
Yes you absolutely can use this with your printer, and you can use microsoft office actually! Its an android app, free to install and works wonderfully. Another option, which is what i use is Google Docs.
