I don't know much about electrical wiring, but the instructions given were concise and accurate. I was able to get 3 of these units installed in less than 5-8 minutes apiece. Just make sure that you have a neutral wire available. The software setup took another couple of minutes and everything was good to go.
Ninety percent of my home lighting is controlled via Control4 Home Automation but I wanted to try these on a couple of circuits that did not have Control4 applied to them. These switches are $50 a piece vs. $200 for installation of a single Control4 switch. While they cannot be accessed and automated via the Control4 system, they provide a nice and inexpensive way to gain a semblance of automation. The circuits I applied these to are infrequently used circuits like the roof plugs for Christmas lighting, secondary garage bay lights and garage door soffit lights. I was able to set schedules for each switch easily. They work!
What's great about it: Simple wiring and setup. All the parts are in the box. It just works.
What's not so great: Doesn't work in three-way switch setups

Excellent product. Priced too high

I was actually waiting for this product to hit the shelves. I needed a wifi enabled light switch for my outside deck with the switch being inside the house and too far from where we sit. The switch was easy enough to install, connected very well to the network, updated itself (firmware) and works ever since. I think it should cost $20 and not $50 and of course there are improvements to make, like a plate that accommodates a dual switch setup, etc. But all in all - a fantastic product, from a good company, that works!

Price is fair

With this kind of technology I think that the price is VERY fair. I've got Control4 switches controlling 90 percent of my home's lighting and at $200/Control4 switch this becomes a GREAT deal!
