I did a lot of research before buying this dishwasher, as I was interested in a dishwasher that was QUIET!! This dishwasher is wonderful and quiet! Important to know, this dishwasher does no have a heating element, therefore it is very important to make sure you adjust the temperature on your hot water heater to the recommended setting. Additionally, we always stopped our old machine during the drying cycle to let the dishes air dry and save energy, this dishwasher does not dry the dishes, so you either open the door when it is finished and let them air dry or towel dry them, but like I said, that is not an issue to us. The small issue I have is that the rack is not set up to hold long casserole dishes easily, so we just work arund that!

I've had the LG washer now for a little over a year, and it works perfectly as long as I fill it to the top with clothes. My issue is when I need to wash less clothes. In order to wash a load that is even three-fourths the capacity, I have to set the load to bulky bedding, which uses more water, otherwise the load will become unbalanced and stop until I reposition the wet clothes. I wash only our black clothing with other black clothing, and I wash a load of black clothing every weekend, as we are very busy and do all of our laundry on Saturdays. Therefore, at least once a week, and usually more, we have to waste a lot of water to do our laundry. If you wait until you have very full loads of laundry, then this washer is for you; if you wash on a schedule and/or wash smaller loads because of delicacy or sorting by color, this may not be the best machine for you. Below: I would recommend this machine to a friend, if it meets their needs.
